Self acceptance, part two. 💕 With age, I’ve learnt to take other people’s negative or positive opinion of me with a pinch of salt. Opinion is a perspective, not truth. Regardless of whether people think I’m awesome or terrible - I’m still the same - ME.

I intentionally remind myself to not be attached to either. Believing in one or the other is a trap and addiction for either more attention or self loathing. Self acceptance allows me to love and accept myself fully and unconditionally regardless of what the world thinks of me. And I believe that has been the biggest gift that time and experience have given me.
