Less than four hours to flag off for the Sundown (half) Marathon 2014! Running for charity tonight, thus making it more special. Donations are welcome at http://www.giveasia.org/movement/sundown_with_love_by_cheryl_tay for all four beneficiaries of Sundown this year.

At the Salomon City Trail Run yesterday, I used the Samsung Gear 2 to track the run. It can record distance (via GPS on the Galaxy S5), heart rate (via inbuilt sensors), time, calories, pace and speed. I had RunKeeper on my phone and also wore my Polar RCX3 with the chest strap. It was a 5km run but the Gear 2 recorded 5.78km compared to RunKeeper's 4.97km. Heart rate recorded was similar to the RCX3, average of 165bpm, but it doesn't show the lowest and highest heart rate reached during the workout.
