疫情令生活偏離常規,小朋友校園生活節奏給打亂,但學習卻不能停止,既要適應新學習模式,又不能如常外出,壓力增加,容易出現焦慮、煩躁及情緒低落等症狀,如發現小朋友比平日易怒暴躁,或者不時出現肚痛等身體不適,都可能是壓力大的症狀。凡此皆為家長們增添照顧小孩的壓力,又要擔心工作、生計,所以要記得適時減壓,否則精神壓力大會影響情緒、食慾甚至睡眠。是時候煲一煲一家大小都適合飲用的減壓湯,佛手瓜有健脾開胃、清肺化痰功效,鵪鶉能補益五臟,此湯味道香甜清潤,美味之餘能紓減壓力。
理氣健脾湯水小貼士:
適當地添加理氣健脾功效的食材如蓮子、百合、猴頭菇等。
佛手瓜猴頭菇鵪鶉湯
功效:理氣健脾開胃,紓緩精神壓力大而引致食慾差等症狀。
材料:佛手瓜2個、紅蘿蔔2根、猴頭菇2塊、鵪鶉1隻、陳皮1塊、蜜棗2枚
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,佛手瓜及紅蘿蔔去皮切大塊;猴頭菇浸泡約半天,期間換1-2次水。鵪鶉汆水備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮2小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Stress-relieving soup for the whole family
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our regular lifestyle, including our children’s school life. Nevertheless, the learning process must go on. Getting used to the new teaching and learning method and constantly staying home have increased the children’s stress level, causing them to develop frustration, anxiety and other emotional problems.
If you notice your children seem to be more irritable than usual, or experience stomach upset, it most probably is due to stress. As parents who also develop stress in taking care of children, and worry about work and livelihood, we should learn to de-stress, or else our emotions, appetite and sleep quality will be affected.
It is time to make stress-relieving soup for both young and old members of the family. Chayote, from the gourd family, can strengthen the spleen and improve the appetite, clear the lungs and eliminate phlegm; quail can nourish the five internal organs; this soup tastes sweet and refreshing and at the same time, helps relieve stress.
Tips for soup to regulate qi and strengthen the spleen:
Appropriately add in ingredients such as lotus seed, lily bulb and monkey head mushroom etc.
Chayote soup with monkey head mushroom and quail
Effects: Regulate qi, strengthen spleen and alleviates lack of appetite. Alleviates stress induced symptoms such lack of appetite.
Ingredients: 2 chayotes, 2 carrots, 2 monkey head mushroom, 1 quail, 1 piece of dried citrus peel, 2 candied dates
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel chaoytes and carrots and cut into pieces. Soak monkey head mushroom for half day, change water for 1-2 times. Blanche quail.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hour. Add salt to taste.
