In the mood for some cold cuts and cheeses? Make your way to Deli Menue, a new venture by Le Venue that focuses in offering some of the finest cold cuts and cheeses imported by the proprietor directly from Europe. Like a classic deli, there is a counter in the restaurant that displays the available products- from exquisite cheeses to seemingly lavish hams, Jamon Serrano, Salami etc. Making it merrier is that Deli Menue also carries imported brands for Pasta (like De Cecco), various uncommon spices and dips (like White Truffle Oil, Spanish canned Sardines, Olives etc). While the meat variety is impressive, the restaurant has a fully functional kitchen that churns out delicious main dishes as well (Pasta, grills, Burgers etc). Don't be taken aback by the potential damage though, the price range at Deli Menue is surprisingly affordable.

This photo is not pretty. But this meal is exceptionally special.
I've been packing food to work. And everyone marvels at how amazing it is that my husband is the one that cooked it.
He's been on Keto diet the last 3 weeks. And this week, I've decided to join him on it. (Although my previous records weren't good, I always give up on the 2nd day. Lol) Over the weekend, he singlehandedly grated all the cauliflower and broccoli and cooked a week's worth of high fat high protein meal for us while I was at work.
I really dislike cold, raw and dry food. So salads never works for me. And I LOVE soup! So today on top of what he prepared, I also made vegetable and kelp miso soup.
Well, what I really wanna say is, I'm so grateful for a husband that is so happy to cook for me, that loves me so much. I am truly blessed. Thank you @deon.woo ♥️

Vege Broth is much-talked-about these days in Japan on TV and in magazine articles. What you do is you make the broth using vegetable waste.
The broth is rich in phytochemical which builds your immune system. You can expect health benefits (prevents cold) and beauty effects (anti-aging effects). Very economical and healthy broth!
It doesn't have a taste but fragrant.
You can substitute the cooking water with this broth:
Miso soup, curry rice, stew, flavored rice, Udon, Nabe, soup, risotto, etc...
You can also use it to make ramen or instant foods!
In this way, kids can eat vegetables without realizing it :)

Vege Broth
Difficulty: Super Easy
Time: 30min
Number of servings: N/A
Ingredients:
hands full of vegetable waste
1300ml water
1 tsp. Sake (to make the soup tasty and remove bad smell)
Directions:
1. Wash the vegetable waste very well.
2. In a pot, put water, vegetable waste, and Sake. Put on low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Stop the heat and strain the liquid through a sieve into a large bowl and discard the vegetable waste.
※You can keep it in the fridge for 3 days. OR freeze it in an ice cube tray for a week.

Hiyashi Chuka is a refreshing noodle recipe with lots of vegetables. A small amount of karashi hot mustard will bring out the flavor of the lemon soy sauce. You can also arrange the toppings to your taste.

2 bags of Hiyashi Chuka Noodles
1 tsp Sesame Oil
4 slices of Ham
1 Egg
A pinch of Salt
1 tbsp Water
1 tsp Potato Starch
1/2 Tomato
1 Cucumber
1 pack of Broccoli Sprouts
6 Frozen Boiled Shrimps
Toasted White Sesame Seeds
- Lemon Soy Sauce -
100ml Hot Water (3.38 fl. oz)
1/2 tsp Torigara Soup Base - Powdered Chicken Soup Base
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Sesame Oil
Karashi - Japanese Hot Mustard
- Sesame Sauce -
1 1/2 tbsp Sesame Paste
1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
50ml Water (1.76 fl. oz)
1 Spring Onion
1/2 tbsp Chopped Ginger
1 tsp Sesame Oil
