Positioned in the Right Place At the Right Time
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. For man also doesn’t know his time. As the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 WEB)
Waiting and sitting on your hands is probably one of the hardest things to do, but sometimes it is necessary.
When timing and preparation coincide, the results will be beautiful.
At times, an average person can be at the right place at the right time, and be used mightily by God for His purposes.
We do not know the future, so the only way is to trust in the God who does. Believe that He is so good that He will use His knowledge to give you an advantage; to position you for victory in your situation.
Prayer: “Dear Abba God, I may not be the very best in my field, but You are so gracious towards me, giving me opportunities for advancement and to receive undeserved favor just because I trust in You. I lean not on my strength, wisdom, understanding, or skill, but fully upon Your Holy Spirit. Position me in the right place at the right time to receive from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
