上個週末吃貨好友從ＬＡ回來探親
雖然感恩節已經吃了很多大餐
但是我絕對不能錯過這麼難得的姐妹約會時光
說什麼也要出去聚聚
我特別挑選了這間在我家附近的新餐廳
（其實已經不新了，開了2.5年，一直想要去朝聖）
🌟 XO Restaurant 🌟
以法國菜概念設計了七～九道菜的套餐
再以亞洲人的概念用Family Style上菜
這樣不僅可以吃到非常精緻又好吃的的好菜
省下來的碗盤人工費就可以反應在價錢上
這是最近餐飲界的新趨勢

七道菜分別是
🐔前菜：韓式炸雞皮 Korean Style Hot & Sticky Chicken Skin
韓式甜醬油配上酥脆無油雞皮
超級好吃der😋
真想再來兩盤
🥗 蔬菜：Beet & Pumpkin Roulade, Chimichurri, Shiso
Beets+南瓜餅配上超好的Chimichurri & Shiso
每想到他們這麼絕配耶！
也好好吃喔！
🍚澱粉：馬鈴薯片＋海苔＆葡式臘腸 Seaweed Potato Au Gratin, Portuguese Sausage Sauce
這道澱粉也太精緻、工好細喔！
也很好吃
🥚 蛋白質（主菜一）：菲律賓式炸雞 Adobo Fried Chicken, Braised Peppercorns
他們餐廳真的很會炸東西
炸得好酥脆可口
醬料就是很典型菲式的Adobo醬汁
這是他們的鎮店菜餚👍
🥚蛋白質（主菜三）：夏威夷煙燻豬肉＋高麗菜 Kalua Pork & Cabbage, Lomi Tomato
可能是因為我們自己會做Kalua pork
所以我比較苛薄一點
這菜就蠻普普的，唯一沒被吃完的一道菜
🥚蛋白質（主菜三）：XO醬干貝＋茄子、Scallops, XO Butternut Curry Sauce, Eggplant
有干貝的主菜就是高級啊！
又有帶到餐廳的精髓～ＸＯ醬
主廚真的很會設計菜單耶！
🍮甜點：南瓜布丁派 Pumpkin Crunch, Cream Cheese Brulee
非常應景的甜點
我個人覺得有點小甜，但是算是好吃的喔！
我給八分
整個晚餐就是這樣每道菜被我跟吃貨朋友品頭論足了一個晚上
聊天聊得快關門前我去上廁所
回來發現我後方有一本雜誌Honolulu Magazine
封面人物長得跟我們的服務生好像喔！
一問之下才知道服務生根本就是餐廳老闆兼主廚啊！😆（因為他才27歲，完全看不出來是老闆啊！）
天啊～～～超尷尬😅Der
希望我們對每道菜的評價沒被他聽到（沒聽到才怪🤪）
然後又跟老闆聊了一堆
原來做美食是他的副業，其實他是炒股高手😁
特別的是他的餐廳每三個月換一個菜單
我最喜歡這種餐廳了
每次去都會有新鮮感
我已經打算二月再度光臨

We went to the BEST rated Chinese restaurant in NYC (well, best rated in Brooklyn at least), with a 4.5 star review on Yelp, and found one of the most unique Chinese restaurants we’ve ever been to. Holed up in a small corner of Bushwick, it barely looks like a restaurant on the outside, but on the inside they’ve got some truly unbeatable American Chinese food. Check it out!!!

So I brought my Chinese friend and a Chinese stranger we found on the subway in NYC to try the absolute WORST rated American Chinese restaurant in NYC, as judged by Yelp (1 star review!). The result was pretty epic. We got all the American Chinese food classics like lo mein, egg drop soup, sweet and sour soup, kung pao chicken, and of course, General Tso’s chicken. Totally different from authentic Chinese food but still nice in its own way — right??? Until we came here!
