Calgary 卡爾加利│唯一中式素食料理
當你進到卡爾加利市中心後，你會馬上發現周遭的店都是用中文的，會有一種錯覺以為自己還在亞洲。沒錯，你已經來到了卡爾加利的中國城。這裡麻雀雖小，五臟俱全。喝的吃的買的，樣樣俱全。當然少不了素食餐館囉~

「Happy Veggie House 健康素食」提供各式各樣的中式料理，而且價格合理，特別是午餐，CA8.95 兩個菜加炒飯或炒麵，很是划算。素肉上海粗炒 (CA10) 和餛飩湯 (CA4.5) 也很不錯，餛飩是自己包的，餡料非常多；千萬別錯過素香椿抓餅 (CA4.95) 和素雞腿 (CA6.5) 喔！素雞腿幾乎是我每次必點呢！

Calgary│The Only Chinese Vegetarian Cuisine
When you first go to the downtown of Calgary, you will immediately realized that the shops around there are all in Chinese, and there will be an illusion that feels like you are still in Asia. It is because you have come to the Chinatown in Calgary. It is small here, but you can find everything you need. And of course, there is a vegetarian restaurant here.

"Happy Veggie House" offers a variety of Chinese dishes at reasonable prices, especially for lunch. CA8.95 two dishes with fried rice or fried noodles, it is very cost-effective. The vegetarian meat Fried Shanghai noodles (CA10) and wonton soup (CA4.5) are also very good. The wonton is self-wrapped and the uses a lot fillings; don't miss the Cedar Pancake (CA4.95) and Vegetarian Chicken Drumstick as well (CA6. 5) I will order the Vegetarian Chicken Drumstick almost every time I go!

For this video, I headed down to Ah Hwa Roasted Noodle House to do a Dumpling Noodles Challenge! Ah Hwa Roasted Noodle House is a family-owned restaurant located at Bukit Batok that specialises in Wanton/Dumpling Noodles.

Wanton/Dumpling Noodles is a Cantonese dish that has become widespread throughout Southeast Asia, comprising of thin egg noodles tossed in a light sauce and served with wantons (dumplings), leafy greens and char siu. The addition of char siu is unique to the Southeast Asian variants of the dish. My version was served dry with soup on the side, but can be ordered as a bowl of soupy Dumpling Noodles.

At a very affordable cost of $4 per plate of Wanton/Dumpling Noodles, each plate was loaded with fried and boiled dumplings, a generous amount of char siu, bok choy and a nest of noodles coated in a dark and glistening sauce. The noodles were arguably the best part, al-dente, light and springy, and the mixture used in the sauce complemented it wonderfully with a savoury and slightly spicy flavour. I could taste sesame oil and soy sauce used in the sauce, but the owners refused to elaborate on the sauce mixture.

The dumplings were plump and had a good filling-wrapper ratio. Inside, there were chopped up prawns and bits of pork, together with some crunch, possibly in the form of chestnuts. The char siu were plentiful, but they were slightly too sweet and chewy for my taste.

I managed to complete 13 plates of Wanton Noodles at just about 30 minutes and finally did a before-and-after weighing for my challenge, gaining 5kg (66kg to 71kg). It was enjoyable, cheap food and I am pleased to support a family-owned Singaporean business in these trying times.

日本トップレベルの味と人気を誇る店へ！神奈川県足柄下郡、湯河原駅近くにある『らぁ麺屋飯田商店』へお邪魔しました！食べログ百名店の常連、Bronzeを3年連続受賞する実力店であり、情熱大陸などメディア露出も多いのでご存知の方は多いかもしれません。小田原系、と言われる、スープがたっぷり入り、ワンタンが添えられ、ボリューム感たっぷりの形式を取っており、麺は全て自家製、しかもメニューやその日の天候などで麺の太さやバランスが変わります！なかなか入るにもハードルが高い同店の渾身の一杯をぜひご覧ください！

To a shop that boasts Japan's top-level taste and popularity! I visited "Ramen-ya Iida Shoten" near Yugawara Station, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa! It is a talented shop that has won Bronze, a regular restaurant with 100 famous tabelogs, for three consecutive years, and there are many media exposures such as passion continents, so you may know many people. It is said to be Odawara, soup is full of soup, is served with wonton, and has a voluminous form. All noodles are homemade, and the thickness and balance of the noodles change depending on the menu and the weather of the day! Please take a look at the whole restaurant's whole body, which has high hurdles to enter!
