[A Moment in L'Arc-en-Ciel History] 20 years ago, on August 11th, 1999, L'Arc-en-Ciel released "Driver's High," their 17th single. The 5th and final single from "ark," it was released on the same day as "CHRONICLE," a collection of 8 L'Arc-en-Ciel music videos. A special contest was run to promote the releases, where fans who bought both the single and the video collection could enter to win prizes that included a special CD compilation titled "Driver's High Selection." The CD compilation featured 10 tracks from Western bands picked by the members of L'Arc-en-Ciel that they would want to listen to while driving.
