Throwback ASEAN University Games 2016, Men's 10,000M Final.
As people said that, "The 10,000M race is lap after lap of waiting, and the last lap is where the race begin."
A tough and hard fight with Fabian Ng, from Singapore.at the end of the race.

We race until the last 10M of 10,000M. Finished with the time of 35:22.59 minutes and he finished with the time of 35:22.73 minutes, ahead of 0.14 seconds. This is the closest fight I ever had in my life compared to the last closest fight in the end of a race as well, which is the MRCA Charity Run 2015, won a 0.36 seconds ahead of Lili Suhairi. Thanks to Fabian Ng, for giving me the most exciting race ever, a sportsmanship race where even though we are not winning the medal but we did our best try to beat each other no matter what.
In any race, once I signed up, I will do for the best. I will not give up until the end of the race unless my body not allow me to do so. I always remember this, in a race, if you have counted that you are not in podium, just do your best, finish strong, who knows you end up a personal best timing for the distance or the race, who knows in the end, you pull down the gap between you and the runner in front of you just for the few seconds or even minutes if you race hard. Remember it, and next year if you join this race again, it will definitely remind you and boost you from psychological site that you did a good timing last year, now is time to race against the timing that you have set.
Don't always aim for winning prizes, instead aiming for the timing is far more important than everything. In the end, you got to beat yourself, biggest enemy are always you. A PB is much more valuable than the prizes, prize is just the bonus for you, a reward for you after fighting so hard, sometime you won't get the prizes, but believe it, one day you will get that from all your hard work.
In Malaysia, I have seen lots of runners who give up chasing when they think they have no chance at all, I have seen some stopped halfway of the race and go back home after they know they can't win. Some are like slowing down when they know they are leading the race and they know they gonna win the race. For me personally, I will fight for the best timing if I knew I gonna win the race. I won't slow down even though no one chasing you from behind, that's the spirit of participate in a road race. Race against yourself when you are the leader.
This is what make a race call it a race.
Thanks everyone who supporting me in my running journey, my parents, my family, my friends, my fans and my sponsor, Garmin Malaysia, Lifeline ID, NuliveScience, Currexsole and my latest partnership, Sony Malaysia.
