Visiting old shops in Hong Kong is just like going back in time and it brings back childhood memories. It can also be a time for you to tell your children what a piggy bank is and why you immediately ran away when you saw a feather duster 雞毛掃 😏

Next time when you plan to get new items to decorate you home, or simply a new broom or bamboo chair, why not have a look at these small shops. Check out the 60 year-old Hong Kong-style furniture shop - Chu Wing Kee 朱榮記in Sheung Wan. It is not easy for old shops to survive in this fast-changing Hong Kong. But when they are gone, part of Hong Kong will be lost forever.

If you are lucky, you can see red piggy banks lining up outside the shop.

My house has two water tanks. One on the main level. And one on the roof. The bottom one pumps up to the top one when the top gets low. Bottom one is fed naturally by the city water as it enters my home.

Decided to clean the tanks today. Put some bleach in them.....then scrubbed them with a clean broom. Then dumped out the water from both.

It was then I learned that my province has turned off the water for the day to fix some pipes or something. I picked the exact day the water is turned off to clean my tanks. What are the odds?

Not one of my best selfies ... but it sure is one of my favourites... at that time just finished the creators summit in Broom. So while I was in Matt Wrights, Top End Safari camp I was practicing my selfie skills with the local crocs :) .. what do u think?

Hocus pocus! I need new clothes to focus! Haha!

Presenting my wearable day and night looks for the most spooktacular holiday of the year!

Halloween doesn't have to be all ghoulish and dark. The theme of my day time look is colorful stylish edibles. Think ice-cream shoes and lemon clutches!

I went a little gothic for my night look with dark lips and swapped my pink bomber jacket for a black version.

Now all I need is a parking lot for my broom! ???? Outfits by @pepperkokosg ?
