Recently, #ChallengeAccepted has "flooded" our Instagram feeds. Some of us are aware that the campaign is started in Turkey to raise awareness about femicide.
Raising awareness of femicide or violence in woman should not be limited in Turkey. Femicide and violence is increasing worldwide but research shows that less than 40% of them who experience violence seek help of any sort.
Don't let this stay in social media, make the campaign more meaningful by supporting our local organisation or reach out to your fellow woman friends to give them the necessary support and encouragement. Supporting & empowering women doesn't have to be only limited to women. If you are a father, a husband, brother or siginificant other half, you have a responsibility to love and support the woman in(of) your life.
