週六貼出Suit Walk的造型之後，得到很多回響，其中一個是我上一份工作的美國同事，他希望我教他如何打扮。其實之前也被朋友問過同樣的問題，我相信這也是很多人共通的疑問，所以我想，就把回他的留言分享一下：
我先問他針對什麼場合，他回：
For everyday life. I have never developed a true sense of personal style apart from T-shirts and jeans, and I wanna be a satorialist like you. Seriously. I’ll take any tips!
以下是我的建議：
First of all, if you think "no more T shirt and jeans" then just stop wearing them. Instead, start to try items or colors that you've never thought of, both formal and casual, and follow some IG influencers whose style attracts you. You can learn from them and experiment mix and match by yourself at the same time. Asking people for advice helps, too. But most of all, you have to feel comfortable with it. If you do, then it fits you.
我也不知道我算不算回答到他的問題，或許並針對他個人的問題直接回答，而比較像是指出一個大方向。首先是「離開一成不變」，如果我們覺得自己的穿衣風格（其他事情也一樣）開始陷入一種慣性或常態，想要改變，其實就是一種進步；其次是「模仿」，在穿搭方面，模仿甚至抄襲不算壞事，在找到自己的風格之前，參考是非常重要的一步，以前可能是時尚雜誌，現在更多是從網路、IG、Pinterest等社群上尋找模仿對象。藉著搜尋自己喜愛的模仿對象，慢慢發現自己的偏好，是喜歡簡單的Normcore風，還是喜歡瘋狂的顏色對比，試著照他們的方式穿搭，看看在自己身上適不適合；如果這是你喜愛的樣子，穿在自己身上也不覺得奇怪（判別方式：會不會覺得彆扭？像不像你自己？），就可以開始「實驗」階段：在原有的基礎上，開始添加一些你自己喜歡的單品，而不是照單全收你模仿的對象。可以先從小地方或配件著手。「實驗」是最有趣的階段，因為這時候的你已經比較能掌握自己的風格了，但實驗難免出錯（我也常常出門之後覺得自己怎麼會穿成這樣就走出來了），沒關係啊！找個你覺得有審美觀念的朋友給你一些建議，下次稍稍調整即可。
以下是幾個Follow人數很多的IG帳號，有休閒風格也有正裝風格。風格很重要沒錯，但別忘了場合更是穿搭最重要的依據。
