Taco Tuesday? I'd rather have this Taiwanese "taco"! Some people call it Chinese burger, but isn't the folded bun resembles taco more than burger buns? 🤔 Anyhow, this is actually called "Gua bao"! Tried to make it myself previously from scratch (yes, including the bun!) it turned out better than I expected for a first timer, but definitely still need some adjustments to the recipe!
Whole wheat bun with roasted pork belly, pickled cucumber, coriander, and crushed peanuts.

很多人說,小黃瓜重複吹涼再煮,是脆瓜變脆口的原因。其實小黃瓜,只要一直泡在含鹽或糖的醃汁裡,蔬果中的水份,和醃汁之間的滲透壓不平衡 。蔬果裡的水份,便會轉移至濃度高的鹽或糖溶液裡,造成小黃瓜脫水,瓜肉會變得爽脆。重複吹涼的動作,還有這些作用~
