For fans of Sludge/Post-hardcore/Black Metal/Doom

CELESTE plays a mix of Sludge / Post-hardcore with Black Metal and Doom hints. Definitely for fans of Breach, Neurosis, old Cult of Luna or Deathspell Omega. Darkness is really the word that fits to the band. They are a very particular band live as they play in total darkness, only using red headlights and a strobe for their performances.

We did more than 400 shows all over Europe, Russia, Japan and USA with famous bands like Dark Funeral, The Ocean, Russian Circle, The Locust, Jarboe, Killing Joke, Amenra, Alcest, Rise of the North Star ....and played at some worldwide famous Festivals such as Hellfest (twice in 2012 and 2018), Roskilde Festival, Psycho Las Vegas, Brutal Assault, Summer Breeze, Motocultor Festival, Roadburn, Copenhell Fest, SWR Fest, Damnation, Temples Fest, Ieper Hardcore Fest, Desert Fest, Sant Feliu Fest, Denovali Swingfest, ...

Released 1990

Yosui Inoue is a well-known Japanese folk singer and this is probably his most famous song.
I was going to sing this outside, but various things prevented me from doing that today, so I went ahead and took in inside.

The song describes summer memories from the singer's childhood. These are quite different from what an American child experiences, but I can imagine a Japanese summer through this song. According to the singer, this song can be interpreted in many ways, so I translated it using my own interpretation. Enjoy!

外で撮ろうと思ったんですが、事情により無理でした(^^;)

アメリカ人が経験する幼い頃の夏の思い出とはかなり違いますが、素敵な曲なのでカバーしました。井上陽水さんによると、色んな解釈ができる曲だそうですが、自分の解釈で英訳をつけてみました。Enjoy!
