(1) 小酌、小口喝 to nip on + (酒)
e.g. He's been nipping on this whisky.
(2) 喝得爛醉 to hit the bottle(s)
e.g. Do you think Ross is gonna hit the bottle(s) tonight?
(3) 宿醉 hangover (n.); hungover (a.)
e.g. I drank so much on Friday night that I was all hungover the next day.
(4) 一直續攤（不停去不同的bar/club) 的行為 to go barhopping
e.g. Let's go bar hopping tonight to pick up some girls.
(5) 因為太醉而把不是自己菜的人看成天菜 to wear beer goggles
e.g. Wait...you hit on him last night? Were you wearing beer goggles again?
(6) drunk dial (v.) (n.) 喝醉後所打的電話
（通常是打給之前的情人、出軌對象、單戀的人、或是喜歡的人）
e.g. (名詞) I got his drunk dial last night. He asked me to go out w/ him again.
e.g. (動詞) Karen drunk dialed me again last night.
(7) to paint the town red 玩通宵、不醉不歸
(8) 跟醉有關較常被使用形容詞:
sober 清醒完全沒有醉意的
buzzed 當喝得很舒服、讓你很放鬆的狀態 （未醉)
tipsy 微醺的 （會臉紅的人已臉紅)
drunk 已喝醉 但還沒有吐、失憶、失控
intoxicated 醉到 （or嗑藥）到已經無法理性思考、開始亂講話、做奇怪的事
hammered, wasted, smashed, annihilated 酩酊大醉
（已幾乎無法行走）
