《英文公告來找碴-1 》
台灣一直很不重視英文公告、標語、說明的正確性，連桃園「國際」機場也是。接下了我會不斷貼出「中文思考、直接逐字翻譯成英文」的例子，並改成正確的並且英文程度更進階的版本，多數來源都會轉自桃園國際機場FB page
前幾天轉貼了桃機針對非洲豬瘟的英文公告（大家請勿帶任何農牧商品入境，請努力檢舉違規者！），其中 epidemic situation 就是直接從中文的「感染情況」翻譯過去。英文用epidemic 一個字，就足以代表「感染情況」，不需要再加 situation 這個字；英文裡沒有 epidemic situation 這樣的搭配用法。google找得到這樣用，但看看資料來源就會知道不是英文母語者
改寫後：
The African Swine Fever epidemic among pigs in several countries has recently become dangerously serious.
Any meat products, animals, and plants are not allowed to be brought into Taiwan.
To avoid the smuggling of the above mentioned, inspection dogs in Taoyuan Airport are on intensive patrol duties.
Arriving passengers must follow the quarantine regulations of importation at all times, or otherwise you will face a maximum fine of 1 million NTD.
