皓月闪烁，星光闪耀，祝大家中秋佳节美满快乐!
The kids were in for a surprise when I told them that we were going for a walk in our neighbourhood late tonight. Asher had made a lantern in school and he was so excited to bring it out! Little did they know that I had also secretly brought along some sparklers so that they could continue this yearly tradition of ours. You can imagine their smiles when I said "Ta-dah" and presented them with the boxes of sparklers, yippee!
We made our way to a pavilion and were pleasantly surprised to see that there was nobody there. Well, we even brought along some chrysanthemum tea and red pomelo - the kids helped me to peel it at home - to enjoy too, nice right? It was my first time celebrating this night with four kids on my own and we loved seeing how the baby was amused and happy with everything going on. Hop to my IG to see his expression and also check out how the kids raced and even put on a dance performance, woohoo.
It might be 9 days to PSLE written exams but I am so glad we took tonight off to relax, enjoy and remind ourselves of what is important in life. I told the big girl that I would be proud of her no matter what and her happiness matters the most to me.
Ariel said "Thank you, Mama, for always celebrating these occasions with us." Awwww. It was such a simple gesture yet the memories made are so precious and our hearts are full tonight.
Hope everyone had a wonderful day with your loved ones too! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, everyone!
P.S. We looked up at the sky and said "Hello" to Popo whom we believe is now a star shining down on us. I used my sparkler to write the letters "I❤U" and hope she knows that, even the kids said "We miss you, Tai Po". And we always will. Family is truly everything.

Bob Dylan，本名Robert Allen Zimmerman，1941年生於美國明尼蘇達。創作歌手、作家、2016年諾貝爾文學獎得主。
狄倫是二十世紀以降西方樂壇最受尊崇、影響力最大的創作歌手，在《滾石雜誌》評選的「史上百大創作歌手」名列第一。他不僅繼承吟唱詩人的民歌傳統，亦能融會古今，緊扣時代意識，翻轉語言質地，徹底改變了民謠的風貌。又與搖滾結合，打破樂種藩籬，成為青年叛逆文化的旗手。同代人風行草偃，觸發了西方流行樂的巨大變革。其後一度回歸鄉村樂與草根歌謠，並漸次鎔鑄各路樂風，賦傳統以新意，亦帶來極深遠的影響。
畢生獲獎無數，包括十一座葛萊美獎（含一座終身成就獎），並曾以電影主題曲獲奧斯卡獎與金球獎，1988年進入搖滾名人堂。2008年以其「歌詞創作飽含特出的詩的力量，對流行音樂和美國文化帶來深遠影響」獲普立茲特別獎。
2016年獲頒諾貝爾文學獎，成為第一位獲此獎項的音樂人。瑞典學院表彰他「在偉大的美國歌謠傳統裡創造了全新的詩意表達」。
狄倫迄今出版逾三十張錄音室專輯，並著有小說《狼蛛》（Tarantula）、自傳《搖滾記》（Chronicles: Vol.1，中文版由大塊文化出版）。他也是業餘畫家，曾出版畫冊多種，並有鑄鐵裝置等藝術創作。
《巴布．狄倫歌詩集》收錄了狄倫1961至2012年間創作的386首歌詞，中英文對照，依31張專輯次序整理，其中多首經狄倫親手重新編輯。《紐約時報》謂：「狄倫作為一位歌手而足以躋身文學史，這部書便是最有力的證據。」

這首〈Blowing in the wind〉想來大家都不陌生，作為Bob Dylan最被人記得的歌之一，從1963年發行以來，深深地影響了全世界整整一世代的人。臺灣自然也不例外，楊弦的〈江湖上〉便是向此歌致敬的衍生之作之一。Bob Dylan的許多歌曲，除了對音樂的實驗，也在其中納入了許多對於人生、社會的深刻思索，這也使得他在2016年獲得了諾貝爾文學獎，也是第一名獲得該獎的歌手，此舉一出無數人驚訝之餘，卻也紛紛表示能理解此一選擇。然而，即使有著這樣的光環，Bob Dylan卻在半年後，才親自領取此一獎章。在許多人譴責他傲慢無禮的同時，卻也得以讓我們看見他如何視這些榮譽如浮雲，也讓我們在他身上，真真正正地體會到了何謂「吟遊詩人」的姿態。正如Bob Dylan曾在1969年的訪談中說過：「我只把歌詞看成用來唱的東西，真正重要的，是字句依附的音樂。我寫歌，是因為我總得有些什麼可唱。這是紙上的字句和歌曲的差別：歌在空中轉瞬即逝，紙頁卻能長留。一位偉大的詩人，比方華萊士‧史蒂文斯（Wallace Stevens, 1879-1955）未必能成就偉大的歌者。一位偉大的歌者，像是比莉‧哈樂黛（Billie Holiday, 1915-1959），卻總是能夠成就偉大的詩人。」＊
回到歌詞，整首歌分成三段，每段的結構近似，由三個問題開始，並以「The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind答案呀，吾友，隨風飄盪／The answer is blowin' in the wind答案就飄盪在風裡」作結，彷彿屈原面對世間種種萬物所賦之《天問》，差別在於Bob Dylan問的問題並不像屈原那樣從天地離分、陰陽變化、日月星辰等自然現象，一直問到神話傳説乃至聖賢兇頑和治亂興衰等問題。Bob Dylan的問題如此簡單，在三段分別開頭的第一個問題，他只問了白鴿、高山和天空，接著便回過頭來，以此自然現象的推移隱喻接力至人的存在：和平與戰爭、自由與囚禁、死亡與生命，這三件事幾乎便是人類有史以來永恆的命題，然而經過幾千年的歷史，我們卻似乎依然陷於這樣的困境，無法脫身。Bob Dylan歌中所建立的世界，便不僅僅只是當代，而是只要人類存在一日，便永遠無法迴避的。也正因如此，他的歌反應的世界觀永遠不會過時，在一個吟遊詩人走在風裡時，他所歌唱的一切，也正隨著風，垂問著一切尚在變動的事物、一切人的行動，而這些問題，也正問著我們：究竟人類能否為人類自身造成的苦難負起責任？

Mid altitude mountains in Taiwan are very hard, but also very magic.
After resctriction in Taiwan I plan this trip to Alisha 阿里山 from Xinii 信義.
Shen A Ancient Trail 神阿古道 was recently maintained and it is awesome and direct connection to Alishan.
I plan 40km loop over wild ridge to 松山 Song Shan (over 望美山, 望高瞭望台, 瓊山) and reach Alishan railway in 石猴分道 Shihou railway station (from there can descent to 水漾森林 Shuiyang forest).
Ascent to 松山 Song Shan was 15km with 2000m climb on not easy terrain. I miss turn to ridge and continued on old forest road around 1700m (follow marking and gps carefully).
On old railway I pass several bridges and dark tunnels and walk over 眠月 Mianyue Stone Monkey and 塔山 Ta Shan station where is 500m longest tunnel which has collapse in the middle, it is very dark. I reach Alishan 阿里山 (十字分道 Shizifendao Station).
From there is not far for upper entry to 神阿古道 Shen A Ancient Trail which was maintained in Spring 2021. It is very steep with climb or descent of 1300m on 6km, down to 神木村 Shenmu village.
