♥️Project Cornerstone 3rd month:


PC這個計畫，是YMCA與一些學校合作，由家長到不同的班上，一個月讀一本書帶領全校進入一個主題。

這學期的選書，都跟social-emotion有關，尤其著重於relationship, connection。

上一本是如何應對teasing，這本強調：
當你見到bullying或是something unfair happening，你是不是可以從"Bystander"轉變成"Upstander"?

我一直覺得Bully這個主題非常大也非常複雜，在霸凌或被霸凌的背後，常常有許多來自家庭，個性，或整個社區的問題。而霸凌是全世界性的，並不是移民在別的國家就容易遇到，或是你自己成長的社區就免疫，要怎麼教小小孩做第一時間的情緒處理，進一步去做反應，甚至是做別人的後盾，勇敢挑戰不義，這都是要靠一步步練習跟背後大人的支持！

跟老師討論，這個年齡的小朋友（Ｋ,大班）懂這樣的主題嗎？
老師說：他們都會看到，也會漸漸懂，而且越早讓他們認識越好！

這本繪本圖片大又清楚，很建議大家去圖書館借來讀。昨天練習念給奶酒聽，他給我非常多的回饋，從認為“bystander”已經夠好，到知道"Upstander: Say something"才是對的！已經讓我非常感動！

我也跟奶酒分享了自己中學時代，目睹霸凌卻沒能出手幫忙，因為害怕，擔心自己受到影響，而選擇當Bystander(其實也是共犯)，其實一直是心裡揮不去的自責跟後悔。

今天我讀完這本書，給小朋友看了兩段影片：讓他們更了解被霸凌的心情，然後用paper bag puppet請小朋友上來示範如何練習做Upstander，最後讓小朋友做自己的Wise owl puppet---I'm a Upstander!

今天不妨練習：
1. Speak up! -for the target.
2. Reach out!-ask for help.
3. Be a friend! -invite them to play with you.

不是每個人都能一下子就對霸凌者say no, 所以我們可以先尋求信任大人的幫助，或是把受害者帶走，或是私底下跟受害者變成朋友，再慢慢去練習：
Tell the bucket-dipper to STOP!

【親子共讀時間：Snuggle Puppy】

歡樂週末，分享一本我最近很愛「唱」給寶包聽的經典硬頁繪本：Sandra Boynton的Snuggle Puppy。

這本書插圖逗趣，文字甜蜜，配上輕快的旋律，不只小寶寶喜歡，連大人聽了都會微笑。

我轉貼的這則影片不是唱得最好的，但母女間的溫馨互動最讓人融化。
