1️⃣st dining at a #Malaysian ?? & #Palestine ??

Met the founders of 2 friendly ladies

Guess what?

They humorously shared that the cafe name of Spiced Pumpkin was because they both in pumpkin body sizes (actually they are not though to SiennyLovesDrawing :) ) Spiced because their dishes here using lots of spices, yummy delicious! Must try here ya :D

(i) Maqlubah Rice (aka Nasi Terbalik in Malaysia's national language)
- A rice dish from Palestine with layers of chicken (can be beef, mutton, seafood etc upon order), basmathi rice, 13 herb spices & roasted vegetables cooked together in a pot & flipped upside-down when served. It comes with salata al-quds (i.e. homemade dressing), raed's hot sauce & garnished with roasted mixed nuts e.g. Almonds etc & raisins
- The rice tray in video captured was for 5 to 8 pax of RM110
- Preferable with advance order of couples of hours earlier before dine in by WhatsApp / phone up the cafe 1st at 019-2728317

(ii) Pita Nachos
Spiced Pumpkin's own version of crunchy nachos, fried with special herbs & spices. Best to eat by dipping in its signature hot sauce :D

(iii) Kunafa
- Dessert originated from Nablus, Palestine. With layers of shreded pastry filled with mozzarella cheese & cream. Then drizzled with orange blossom syrup & sprinkled with crushed pistachios.
- Highly recommended to best eaten while it's serving hot esp the cheese is still ooey...gooey...& yummy yummy tasty :D

(iv) Tres Leches
- This is the cafe's signature cake from South America. It's traditional dry sponge cake soaked in 3 types of milks & with fresh fruits e.g. peach, strawberries etc.
- A little too sweet for siennylovesdrawing :P

(v) Love the hot mint tea served here, very nice to enjoy with this great Malaysian + Palestine meal :D
