To people all around the world,
We, Hongkongers just experienced a terrorist attack planned and executed by our Hong Kong Police Force. At about 10pm today, our police force rushed into our railway system in Prince Edward station, got in to the carriage and indifferently beat up all the people in it regardless they are protesters or simply passengers. They ignored the weapon guidelines and fired tear gas indoor in the carriage which is in fact lethal. Also, they beat up innocent people causing them seriously wounded. Some passengers kneeled before them asking them to stop but the response they got were beaten ever harder.
Meanwhile, the police haven’t arrested the passengers after they got beaten up, showing that the only purpose of their brutality was to sort their anger to violence but not dispersing the crowd.
We, Hongkongers are experiencing a humanitarian crisis and we hope that people all over the world can help us in any way you can think of. Thank you and we will stay strong.
Hongkongers
[2019.08.31] Hong Kong Police indiscriminately attack civilians in many MTR stations. This is state terrorism.
General Assembly resolution 49/60, which seeks to criminalize a number of armed activities considered to be "terrorist" in nature:
[Acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify them. (Para. 3).

Just sharing some practical Christian parenting tips tonight!
1) Praise good behavior enthusiastically and patiently correct them when they make mistakes.
Be very considerate to their feelings because the small things (in our perspective) mean a lot to them.
Don’t be unnecessarily harsh which risks crushing their spirit (a healthy esteem and outlook on life).
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with demands that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (EPHESIANS 6:4 AMP)
2) When letting your children watch shows online, watch it together with them and quickly switch any inappropriate content away.
Don’t let them see explicit content and be traumatized because of your negligence.
It’s not just about you feeding on God’s word while their minds are being defenselessly assaulted by the terrors of this world.
Just as much as you guard your heart from evil, guard your children’s eyes and ears from evil too.
What you believe reproduces in your life so safeguard your little ones’ hearts.
“Moses said, “We will go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast to Yahweh.” He said to them, “Yahweh be with you if I will let you go with your little ones! See, evil is clearly before your faces. Not so! Go now you who are men, and serve Yahweh; for that is what you desire!” They were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.” (Exodus 10:9-11 WEB)
3) For children above 3 years old (no exact age—just be guided by the Holy Spirit) cane once on the backside if they act stubbornly in rebellion and refuse to repent from error.
It should hurt but not injure them—just an unpleasant experience to link rebellion with pain.
You are not supposed to enjoy the process. Use this type of discipline when you are calm and not overcome by anger. This is not a time for you to vent your frustration.
Do it because God’s word says it’s necessary, and trust that their stubbornness will be corrected from young and not have worse repercussions in their adulthood.
“Do not withhold discipline from the child; If you swat him with a reed-like rod [applied with godly wisdom], he will not die. You shall swat him with the reed-like rod And rescue his life from Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead).” (PROVERBS 23:13-14 AMP)
