On the 6th day of NSW opening up to Victoria, we drove 7 hours from Melbourne into Mt Kosciusko to celebrate my birthday🎂 So I can summit Australia highest peak on the day I turned 32🤣
The height of Mt Kosciusko is only 2228M, not very high compare to other peaks globally ⛰️ Though it is one of the few places you can ski in Australia during winter ⛷️
There are several routes to the peak:
1) Take the chair lift from Thredbo, walk hike 13 KM return ⛷️
2) Hike 18KM return from Charlotte Pass, same path as the cyclists on Summit Trail🚴
3) Walk 22KM from Charlotte Pass via Main Range Walk with views of Alpine lakes 🏞️ Hikers only🏃
We ended up choosing the 2nd option as my legs were aching after walking 4KM since we were in lockdown for too long 😬

My favorite state in Australia has to be TASMANIA. ✨ Australia is full of beautiful places, but in my opinion, Tasmania is stunning and full of wilderness and untouched nature. I would love to visit Tassie again! Really miss the cool, crisp weather! 🥺✨🪴 #throwback #aixau #australia #tasmania #hobart #tassie

One of my goals for 2019 was to travel to beautiful and luxurious places around the world. In the past few years I was busy touring mainland China far and wide to perform on stage, ten flights a month and lived in hotels basically. I would take a break once a year, stay in London or Paris or go back home to Australia for 2 weeks. But last year I really wanted to spend more time traveling overseas and explore different cultures. In May I stayed in south of France, travelled along Côte d'Azur. I had worked in Cannes for 2 weeks back in year 2009, so it’s amazing to be back and visit other places such as St. Tropez, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Monaco before I headed to Paris again. In 2009 I also won a travel coupon and used it on a 5 day trip to Guam alone. It was rather lonely and super hot and I refrained from the concept of ‘solo island getaway’ for many years, until a friend suggested Koh Samui to me. I’d worked in Bangkok by myself in 2007 and 2008, and I miss Thai people and Thai culture, so I just packed all the colorful clothes in my closet and went to Samui. And finally I discovered flights to Spain were at a low price, I had never been to Spain so I flew to Barcelona and Seville... in 2020 I look forward to more exciting work and travel to countries that I’ve never been to before.❤️

Australia and New Zealand might be quite a journey for some, but they’re totally worth the visit!
Most people will have heard of Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. For three weeks every year, the coastal walk along the beach is transformed into a 2km long art exhibition called Sculpture by the Sea.. It’s one of the largest free exhibitions in the city and you can see over 100 artworks by artists from Australia and across the world.

Explore New Zealand’s Rotorua attractions, and if you’re a water sports enthusiast, make sure that Kaituna River is at the top of your list. Located just 15 minutes from Rotorua city, this epic stretch of water is known for its heart-pounding drops, whirlpools, and waterfalls. https://theculturetrip.com/pacific/new-zealand/articles/the-top-10-things-to-do-and-see-in-rotorua-new-zealand/
Here’s something fun to do on a hot summer’s day in New Zealand: grab a boogie board and head 50 kilometres northwest of Gisborne to the Rere Rockslide. This natural attraction will get you rushing past the watery slopes as you splash into a huge pool. Enjoy the fun-filled slide down the bottom, and make sure to check out Rere Falls while you’re there. https://theculturetrip.com/pacific/new-zealand/articles/the-10-best-things-to-do-in-gisborne-new-zealand/
The Onsen Hot Pools are located near Queenstown in New Zealand and offer secret views across the Shotover River canyon. The rustic cliffside retreat is a great destination all year round: It’ll warm you up in winter, cool you down in the summer, and cosily shield those visiting on a rainy day. https://theculturetrip.com/pacific/new-zealand/articles/the-best-spas-and-wellness-retreats-in-queenstown-new-zealand/
New Zealand’s native glow worm species, the Arachnocampa luminosa, are found deep within the country’s limestone caverns, where they spin their silk nets and lower themselves to capture their unsuspecting prey. Like our little glowing friends? The country is home to some amazing places to see glow worms, such as the Waitomo Caves. https://theculturetrip.com/pacific/new-zealand/articles/9-places-to-see-glow-worms-in-new-zealand/
