Spent the countdown to my birthday doing the exact same thing as i did last year, with the same people i love so much.

I love creating new traditions with you!

Like the candles on top of my cake, i can only continue to shine with the support and protection from your hands (it was hella windy tonight).

I love you. Can’t wait for new additions to the table when we celebrate my birthday again next year!

I am so loved. I feel like i have everything I ever needed because i have you.

Another year older. Today made me realize how my perception of birthdays have changed over the years. Ten years ago I would countdown the hours to my birthday and wake up the next day feeling excited that it was gonna be MY day. I used to look forward to spending it doing something special, dining in nice places and indulging myself in all the pampering I receive from @boon10. But now? I see my birthday as just another day. Another day of God's grace, another day of love and happiness as in everyday. It's a day for me to reflect on the past year and realize how far my life has progressed along each time, how faithful God's been in my life and just how incredibly blessed I am to be where I am in life right now- surrounded by so much love and amazing people in my life. Okay this is getting too long it the point of my post is, life has definitely changed my perception of birthdays. It's no longer about me, but a day for me to reflect and be thankful. And I'm oh-so-thankful, for everyone including YOU who have been following my posts though we may be strangers. Thank you for your love and support all these years ❤️
