There are 3 different tours at different times of the day. We chose the Sunset tour as this is the only one that will pass by the Kwai Tsing Container terminal. It is a bit disappointing as the ferry was actually very far away for the terminal. But it still worths price as the sunset and the night view is absolutely mesmerising (the only tour that you can see both the day and night view!) and... there were only 4 people on board, including my mum and I, so the ferry is yours.
The upper deck is air-conditioned, while the lower deck is just like the ordinary star ferry. Before the pandemic, afternoon tea set was also included. For now, no eating is allowed and you have to wear your mask throughout the journey.
No booking is needed. Just go to the information centre (Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier - near to the Clock tour) 15 minutes before the ferry departs to get the ticket.
