•Where I first fell in love with Italian food (ironically!)
•Where my first Japanese music CD was released
•Where my 50 in-store Japan live performance tour commenced, and
•Where I found out (after undergoing an open surgery for an ovarian cyst that same year, right before the tour) that I had a tumour on a nerve in my brain.

God, WHY ME?

Turns out I forgot to ask that very question when I was privileged to be the first Malaysian to sign a multi-million dollar deal with a Japanese record label in 2009.
Or when I survived a near-death motor accident a decade before that.
Or when I miraculously & against all odds, graduated from college as Valedictorian while holding 1 full time job + 4 part time jobs.

Point is, I have so many things to be grateful for.
And taking stock of all the good things in my life (big and small), gives me countless reasons to smile.

Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.

Today, I have a story to tell and a message of hope to share.
So I say, God, thank you for trusting me that much.
