尖沙咀│一盅兩件。素食點心 (eng below)

嘩嘩嘩！超久沒有去港式「飲茶」了！其實小時候不太愛「飲茶」，素食後就光明正大地不用去，本來是挺開心的 🤣 後來太久沒去，居然還有點懷念，畢竟這是我們香港的本土文化啊 😎

最近這家【緻素坊 Veggie Kingdom】超級紅，很多素友都非常推薦！說到我的最愛一定是「叉燒包」！這個叉燒包跟傳統的有些許不一樣，包子外層有點像「菠蘿油」的酥皮 ，悄悄告訴你，我以前最討厭吃叉燒包 😅 現在居然那麼喜歡，連我自己也不敢相信 😆

還有一向喜愛的「燒賣」，素食版的燒賣感覺更真材實料，我可以一個人吃3籠 ✌️ 還有「腸粉」也是必點，超推薦「靈芝菇素腸」😋

第一次去的時候超興奮，與其他3位美女點了超多點心，感覺把整個點心紙的食物都點了一遍 😂 第二次去是跟家人，大家都意外地覺得好吃 😇

Tsim Sha Tsui│Vegan Dim Sum
It's been a long time since I went to Hong Kong-style "Dim Sum House"! In fact, I didn’t really like "Dim Sum House" when I was young. I was happy that I don't have to go after my switch. But sometimes will miss it because it is our local culture in Hong Kong 😎

Recently this [Veggie Kingdom] is super popular, and many vegans highly recommend it! Speaking of my favorite, it must be "BBQ Pork Buns - Cha Siu Bao"! This Cha Siu Bao is a little different from the traditional one. The outer layer of the bun is a bit like "pineapple bun". Let me tell you secretly, I used to hate the Cha Siu Bao the most. Now I actually like it so much, I can't believe it myself 😆

There is also the "Pork Dumplings - Siu Mai" that has always been my favorite. It feels like the vegan version of Siu Mai has more real ingredients. I can have 3 cages by myself. ✌️ There is also "Rice Noodle Rolls" which is also a must try. I highly recommend the "Ganoderma Lucidum Mushroom" flavor 😋

I was so excited when I went there for the first time. I ordered a lot of dim sum with 3 other beauties. We felt like we ordered the whole dim sum paper food. The second time I went with my family, everyone unexpectedly found it delicious 😇

Recently my buddies brought me on a little adventure. Exploring one of the many caves in Langkawi. It’s pretty magical seeing the stone formations and the different textures within that space. I brought along my HERO10 and tried it out in the most low light conditions while we made our way thru the different cave rooms in the dark and dang I’m pretty impressed.

None of this footage has been colour graded or adjusted.

Inami is most well known for its extensive wood carving district which traces its origins to the construction of the Inami Betsuin Zuisen-ji Temple in 1390. This temple, entirely made of wood and ornamented with intricate carvings has a long history of burning down only to be rebuilt in a much more extravagant fashion. The temple was most recently rebuilt during the Meiji period in 1885, and now exists as the largest wooden Pureland Buddhist temple in the Hokuriku region. It was officially designated as "one of the prefecture's important cultural assets" on April 1, 1965.


Because of its rich history, wood carving is the major trade in Inami. During the reconstruction of the temple in the mid 18th century woodcarvers from Kyoto were dispatched to help in the rebuilding process. These helpers ushered in a new era of woodcarving in Inami, and local carpenters began to produce a more varied assortment of carvings than the temple pieces they had focused on previously.Presently, the woodcarvers use over 200 different variations of chisels to complete their works. They are considered to be the most skilled woodcarvers Japan.

The sound of the Inami woodcarving district was chosen in 1996 as one of the 100 Soundscapes of Japan.

記得大一北上讀大學時，我常因想家、想爸媽偷偷在被子裡哭，當時D床的雲林女孩常攀越床板爬來C床，輕聲溫柔地放了包衛生紙在我的枕頭邊。外宿的記憶隨著日子更迭，默默堆疊；隨時年紀增長，越發增多。

到底一個人住好，還是兩人或以上住好？

過往我一直是喜歡與人相處的陽光個性，但近日搬入女生宿舍後，我才發現自己多麼需要獨處與安靜！！！面對每日生活、休閒、作息、喜好的關切與目光，真讓我好想轉身縮進後方的殼，但一回眸才發現背後空蕩蕩。

然而，兩個人大多時候比一個人好的，因為人本來就需要團隊、需要扶持、需要愛與接納，很開心擁有熱情的新室友們，希望北漂的孩子都跟我們一樣找到好室友、好房子，最最最重要能擁有平安與歸屬感的「家」！

補充：跟新室友們在家裡錄Podcast回音很大，加上天氣熱開了冷氣，真的有點吵，但內容保證輕鬆好笑！希望大家聽完心情愉悅！

When I, as a freshman, flew the nest, I often hid and cried in the quilt due to homesick. The girl from Yunlin often climbed over the bed board, putting down tissue gently beside my pillow.
Memories of living in the dorm are more and more.
Living alone or living with others, which one is better?

I acknowledged myself as a people person in the past. But recently I moved into the new house, I found that how much I needed to stay alone!!!
Facing interpersonal pressure,I want to escape my everyday life, but looking back I find nothing.

However, being with others is usually better than being alone. We all need team, supports, love and acceptance. So glad that I have new roommates.
Hope you, flying the nest like us, find good roommates and house, and most importantly, have peace and "home"!

p.s. Echoes of podcasting are loud in the house. In addition we turn on the air conditioner, so it's noisy a lot, but the content is funny. You have my word! Hope you are pleased after listening!

THRIFT SHOOOOOP! Over the past couple years I've been seriously cutting down my wardrobe so I haven't been back to the thrift stores very often. Oh how I have missed my Japanese thrift stores! But I recently found out about the Dark Academia ~aesthetic~ and I NEEDED to see if I could find some looks! Plus, it's so damn hot here in Japan and turns out most of my wardrobe is plastic (polyester, etc) which is like the worst thing you can wear since it's not breathable?? You learn something new every day. We managed to find quite a few things in my style made of breathable, cotton and linen fibers!
