One of my very main reason to take a 2nd visit to BKK was the attemtping call from @robuchon_bangkok and almight Chef @olivierlimousin. I still also felt the taste of the Le Caviar in my mouth, the dish that we had a chance to plate at his masterclass at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 last year which was so impressive. So then, my dinner was a huge complimentary meal from both restaurant and our funny Chef. I must say dining experience at @robuchon_bangkok was one of the best I've ever had. It all started with Pour Commencer, bringing the rich flavor of royal foie gras, also the slight and soft sweetness of ‘Maury Vielle Vigne’ reduction, parmesan foam. Food became more interesting with the next La dorade. I've never tasted sea bream before, but the carpaccio version goes perfectly with the slight touch of Sologne Imperial caviar on top. Don't forget to order a glass of wine or sparkling, the drink not only clear the taste after each dish but also calmed the mind and prepare for upcoming amazing food. The next two entrees were really the rhyme of flavor. While La truffle noire du perigord gave us the interestingly contrast among textures of risotto, perfectly poached eggs and little touch; le homard du maine was exactly the playground of deeply sweet & sour flavor. Everything came with high satisfaction and enclosed by le choix de nos patisseries which catered a range sweet goddess. Thus, you could stand up high with a very full and happy stomach and say goodbye to that amazing dinner.

While cafe visits in BKK this time I took it so random, the dining was set carefully and precisely before trip. Locates in same area and distanced few blocks from La Montee Bakeshop, Baannai unintentionally drew my attracts when I was looking for food. The Bib Gourmand Michelin Guide restaurant though doesn’t own itself a star, must have said that Chefs here know how to bring the comfort and deliciousness to their own style Thai cuisine. Surprisingly my favorite was the Thai coconut chicken soup which having quite thick and creamy texture, not too spicy so I did enjoy every single bite. Besides, the traditional rice cake had a long last gently comfi level of sweetness that satisfies any sweet tooth.
