In this time where everyone is not able to travel, we are bringing a part of Singapore to you by sharing with you some recipes that you can make at home. Today, we are sharing with you a local classic, the Singapore Sling. This cocktail was created in the early 1900s at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel. It is a “tiki” style cocktail that is very sweet, refreshing and very delicious. Our version of the Singapore Sling uses fresh pineapple juice, although a little more troublesome but trust us, it is totally worth it. We are also using a Singapore Dry Gin from Brass Lion Distillery, this Gin is perfect from this drink as it contains aromatics like torch ginger flower and lemongrass. With this recipe, try making a Singapore Sling to enjoy at home! If not you can always visit Singapore to try it at the Long Bar once this is over, until then let's all cheers from the comfort of our own homes.
