我打賭你會被這完全不知道在搞啥、完全沒有預期的電影預告，感動得亂七八糟。就在這午夜時刻，你也許會感受到電影的真正魔力，結合影像、剪接與音樂所塑造成的強大力量，而這是安德森的實力。

《Licorice Pizza》是一個 70 年代男孩的故事，今年聖誕檔公映，台灣不知有誰會引進（應該是環球但目前還不清楚
最好的自己不在未來，就在現在。
認真回想，以前我好像在每一段關係中都是在扮演某一個角色，不由自主的在為每個對象做調整。不只有在戀愛上，有時候可能跟朋友、工作夥伴都是，尤其是在前輩面前，常常我都會本能反應似的改變自己。聲音要甜一點嗎？笑話要低級一點嗎？從穿衣服就可以看出，我今天是要跟誰吃飯。雖然是微調，但透露出了一件事，我好像不夠喜歡真正的自己，所以才會擔心大家也不會喜歡真正的我。我告訴自己即使累，但如果持續努力，有一天就能變成大家都喜歡的Lara。
久而久之我和世界的相處模式只有「由外到內」，會依照別人對我的反應去斷定我的下一步。大家會覺得我很好相處，我卻越來越不快樂。現在我慢慢開始懂了，原來我把順序弄反了。我該優先處理的是自己內心的感受，其他人買不買單，其實跟你一點關係都沒有。就像找另外一半，如果我跟夢中情人在一起，但我根本無法在他面前做自己，最後還是會走不下去。
我現在33歲，So What? 終於懂，「當下的自己」才是人生時間軸上最重要的！
對了，有人好奇這次「{}」的意思嗎？簡單說是「大括號」，在數學運算式中稱作「空集合」。數學不好的人就想像一個清空的行李箱吧。「空」不是無，而是無限可能。括號還有另外一個更好懂的意思，就是「優先處理」。將過去整理過後的自己，回歸純粹，態度成熟自信！(失戀後重新出發的人應該很有感觸吧！🤣)

Looking back, I seem to have been playing a role in almost every relationship I was ever in. I'm not just talking about romantic relationships. Whether it was with friends or colleagues (especially seniors), I would modify myself almost instinctively. Should my voice be sweeter? My jokes dirtier? If you wanted to know who I was eating with that day, all you had to do was look at the clothes I was wearing.
The changes were subtle, but they still reflected a truth: I didn’t feel like the real me was enough so I was worried that other people would also find her lacking. I told myself that if I just kept working at it, I would someday become a version of Lara that everyone accepted.
Eventually I only knew how to get my cues from the external world. I would always base my next step on feedback I got from others. Most people considered me easy to get along with, but I grew more and more unhappy.
I think I had it all wrong. My first priority should have been listening to my inner voice. Whether or not other people agree with it is not in my control nor of my concern. Take looking for a partner. Even if I found the person of my dreams, it would never last if I couldn’t be myself around them.
I am 33 years old. So What? I finally understand that "the present self" is the most important thing on the timeline of life! It’s time to prioritize me!
By the way, is anyone curious about the meaning of "{}" this time? Besides the more commonly known representation of parentheses as prioritization, these curly brackets are called “the empty set”. The empty what? If like me, math is not your strongest suit, think of it as an empty suitcase. "Empty" doesn’t mean nothing, but infinite possibilities! What will you fill your life with this time?

【再見樂樂】
今日黑色星期五早上九時多，樂樂喺睡夢中離開了，返咗去天堂做小天使。由佢身體狀況急轉直下到離開世界，前後不足二十四小時，咁就一世，好突然好急，我完全無諗過會失去佢，畢竟我收養佢仲差大半個月才五年，太短了，我一路以為我哋仲有大把時間，佢前半生嗰六年都被困於無良繁殖場中被迫生BB，我一路都希望佢嚟我哋度可以享多幾年福。。。雖然而家都已經接受了，但當然係非常唔捨得啦 😭😭
好多人話樂樂好彩有我收養，但其實我真心認為係我好彩樂樂嚟咗我哋屋企。因為樂樂，令我學懂如何做一個盡責嘅主人及如何無條件付出愛心，佢令我返到屋企覺得温暖，有佢愛護我，痴住我，需要我，依賴我，撫慰我嘅內心深處。老老實實，我一直有同樂樂講，其實係我需要佢多過佢需要我，佢曾經陪我度過一段沒有正職嘅日子，嗰陣我全心全意照顧佢唔會亂諗嘢，我哋又一齊試過去遊車河、買外賣、出街食飯、行山頂、做訪問、帶你去做動物老師等，我哋實在有好多共同體驗及回憶；每朝風雨不改同你 walk walk 係我極度放鬆嘅時候，我永遠唔帶電話，專心同你一邊walk一邊傾吓計唱吓歌仔，其實我都好快樂。我慶幸除咗因為受外遊、工作或痛風影響外，每朝我一定自己同你walk，從來唔俾藉口自己唔起身（最多之後瞓返！）我好珍惜我哋嘅相處時間，可以行到你臨終前嘅最後一朝，好感恩。
我記得你2016年9月8日初來我家時對我不瞅不睬，只係跟住工人姐姐，又唔肯食嘢又唔吠，我當時好擔心，以為你無聲音又驚你生活得唔開心，直至你開始肯食我餵嘅糧，開始肯跟住我周圍行，仲要喺廁所門口等我，我就知道你終於肯承認我呢個爸爸啦，好感動。當然，後來我就知道你點會係無聲吖，仲好大聲添，每朝六點吠醒我，催我開飯又吠我，仲有每次入屋都有小猛犬式嘅吠叫，我就知道你喺屋企信心十足。其實我一直都好珍惜聽到你嘅吠叫聲，因為咁樣代表你精神健康，直到最後一朝你無叫醒我，又唔吠我入屋又唔食嘢，我就好擔心知道唔妥喇 。
我好感恩我最後能夠把握機會親自車你去睇醫生，喺等醫生及轉診所時我可以一直陪住你，仲同你搭埋最後一次私家車當遊車河，算係我哋嘅福氣，我也無憾了。你一直都係一隻好易湊嘅狗狗，脾氣又好，反而如果爸爸喺呢四年幾照顧得未夠好，請你原諒我 🙏🙏
我真係好想多謝你嚟到我屋企，將幸福帶俾我哋，又好錫洋洋成日任佢欺負，睇見你哋兩個成日一時糖痴豆一時水溝油就知道兩姊妹感情好好。你係好家姐，我嘅好女女。放心，我哋會好好照顧洋洋。
你到最後都係咁生性咁乖，唔想我哋擔心就咁急離開，唔想我去做痛苦嘅決定，亦唔希望我哋要照顧長期病患，但講真如果你可以仲喺度，我一啲都唔介意。希望您而家已經再無痛苦，又可以睇到嘢自由自在咁盡情玩盡情食嘢。樂樂豬，唔使掛心爸爸，我會繼續努力生活，Life must go on，我知道你唔想我哋唔開心，我盡量唔喊，但一定會好掛住你，你永遠都會活喺我心裏面，保重，爸爸最錫你 ❤

〈無垢鳥〉的歌詞係由《維摩詰所說經·方便品》以及客語童謠〈阿啾箭〉所發想而成。
The lyrics are inspired by “The Vimalakirti Sutra” and the Hakka nursery rhyme “Black Drongo”.
阿啾箭為大卷尾的客語稱法，是地域性很強的鳥類，昔常見於農村牛背上；維摩的梵語是清淨、無垢的意思，結合以上二者，故曲名題為〈無垢鳥〉。
A black drongo is a highly territorial bird often seen resting on the back of a cow in the countryside. “Vima” in Sanskrit language means clean and pure, which is why the song is named “White Drongo”.
〈阿啾箭〉這首童謠使用在電影《光的孩子》的劇情關鍵處，藉由不同角色的無伴奏哼唱，前後串連出生命、情感的一脈相承。〈阿啾箭〉的童謠歌詞迴環反覆、直白簡要，指出無父無母的處境、追尋的失落，剛好扣合電影的角色際遇，也與《維摩詰所說經·方便品》的核心精神相呼應。
The Hakka nursery rhyme “Black Drongo” is used in an important part of the film “The Child of Light”. Hummed by different characters without the accompaniment, it expresses how our lives and feelings are interrelated. With the rotatory and straight forward lyrics, we know how it feels when you’ve lost your parents and try to find something but in vain, which is what the protagonist of the film has been through and in accordance with the core of “The Vimalakirti Sutra”.
〈無垢鳥〉歌詞以聚沫、泡、燄、幻、夢、影、浮雲、電等喻，示明無常的諦理；而〈阿啾箭〉童謠則提供了一個生活感的基底；兩者一虛一實，精神層面和現實景況交匯共振，成為了普世無盡的扣問。
A cluster of foam, a bubble, a flame, an illusion, a dream, a shadow, a cloud and lightning in the lyrics show us how transitory life is while the nursery rhyme “Black Drongo” itself describes an ordinary daily routine. The former is unreal while the later is real. When the spirituality meets the reality, endless questions arise ubiquitously.
〈無垢鳥〉是電影《光的孩子》的片尾曲。原初的構想是希望片尾曲能有不斷往前、往前，最後隨風消散的感覺，意圖在影片結束時，以對自然的感知、經文的無常空相，延擴至更超然的識界，並帶給人飛昇、療癒的力量。
“White Drongo” is the ending song of the film “The Child of Light”. The initial conception about ending song is to deliver the feelings of going forward and fading away eventually. We expect that the ending shows the sense to nature and the impermanence of sutra expending to the unlimited ambit, and also provides people the power of inspiration and mind-curing.

1 year ago today, I went on a semester long exchange to study at Korea's Sungkyunkwan University #성균관대학교 for Fall 2020. 🇰🇷It was truly an exchange journey that really changed my life. I still can't help to think back to all of the amazing people that I met on this exchange, all of the awesome adventures exploring Korea, making the best out of every day in the 5 months that I was there for.
