I have been overweight for the most part of my life, probably since secondary school days. And to be honest, it didn't really bother me - fat jokes and all. But I think there comes a point in time when I want to be healthier for my family.
And thanks to Covid-19, being forced to stay at home allowed me to start exercising. So every morning, together with the wifey, we just followed workout videos on YouTube for a good 45 to 60 minutes. We started with simple cardio and core exercises in April and for the past 3 months, we have been doing cardio kickboxing workouts. Oh, and avoiding carbs for at least 2 meals daily.
So there you go, it took me 6 months to go from a bloated whale to this. And in the process, I lost 20kg. I didn't actually think I lost that much weight - you know how the whole self-perception thing is always skewed - but when I placed earlier photos of myself beside current ones... Ok, I can see the change. 😅
But I'm not a trainer, I'm not an athlete, and definitely not a fitness blogger. And I sure do not have any koyok to sell. I'm just a regular guy with a (huge) Dad bod so if I can do it, you can do too. All you have to get your ass off the floor and get into a routine. It doesn't have to be a long session; even 15 to 20 minutes daily is good enough. All you have to do is START. Jiayou! ☺️

I am highly alarmed, upset and disturbed by the xenophobic sentiments of those against the Rohingyas. I am sure you have seen some of footages of undocumented non-citizens at EMCO (Enhanced MCO) areas allegedly being arrested en mass and sent to immigration facitliies - including children!

I speak to Maalini Ramalo, Director of Social Protection DHRAA and Secretariat of COVIDCAREMY Marginalized Community Support Group her thoughts about this whole fiasco.
She then gives us a recap of what CovidcareMY is all about and how much has been raised since they first started this coalition of like-minded Malaysian NGOs.
I also get to meet with these wonderful angels (we had Kar Mun aka Lemon on my show before too), and we invited her back for a fun "Let's Get to Know Each Other's Craft Speed Date Style".
Each of us, woulld be given 2-3 minutes each to introduce what we are doing to raise funds for CovidCareMY.

5.Your Truly conducts prenatal classes at @yogaonethatiwantstudio every Wednesday at 9:15am to help sustain my friend's yoga studio.

This is a CHEST and BUTT focused circuit to give you a stronger upper body, firmer and perkier looking glutes. You’ll need a pair of medium weight dumbbells, between 3 - 5kgs each. If you do not have one, be creative, make your own weights by filling up bottles with stones or water!
