So many have complimented/asked about the dress I wore to MDRT Ball last week. ☺️ So it was a Saloni washed silk gown. First time wearing this brand and it was love at first sight. Having gone to so many formal and black tie events sometimes I just want to lay low and dress comfortably so that I could fully enjoy the night. Not having to worry about dress falling down fitting too tight or not able to walk freely (girls would know 😛). This silk dress WAS the solution, its flattering silhouette wrapped around the body just like the material (silky). Nothing dramatic but got its own subtle beauty (at least that’s what I think). Saloni is a celebrated Indian designer spirit, so I picked jewellery pieces from Indian designer Aishwarya to go with it. No big rocks no super bling bling just hippie casual as it was. Would the outfit be too casual? Hmmmm maybe so I worked around it by carrying a Mark Cross stingray box handbag (yes, MC my favourite handbag maker for the past 2-3 years). Love the unique shapes and the craftsmanship of the brand. Nothing much less compared to the big H or other upscale brands in my eyes and super value for money 😚 It’s funky to carry around too! Platform heels my favourite Jimmy. Not too many shoe choices due to my big fat feet! Well, end of report! 😘
