On this Mother's Day, we want to take everyone to experience a life of a strong little woman with a strong head. ′′ Mr. Saranya Chamni ′′ or ′′ Golf ′′ shop owner of ′′ Steak Mother Cartoon ′′ who passed sudden losses but still. Life can change in a blink of an eye. And the change often doesn't have any signal for us to prepare ourselves. It's like every day. A family who works honestly is exhausted from work and packing in front of the shop. Karma drives to crash. Two father and son. The mother in the kitchen ran to see it and the picture in front of me is the father and son hugging each other. And that's the last hug of the family. Little cartoon.
.
′′ 6 years ago, we were selling steaks around Barbon. We were closing the shop. Father and sister gathered the table in front of the shop. But suddenly the car was in front of the shop. The car was in front of the shop. But the car was nowhere to hit the father Come to crash at the younger brother. But the car crashed so hard that the brain came out. The picture that we saw was still stuck in our eyes. We don't even have a chance to say goodbye to him well. But we believe that he did the best duty of the father. The cartoon I didn't respond to anything else. All of our collective money was spent on the treatment. We couldn't stay still. So we opened the shop again. But this time we opened it alone. But the income wasn't enough. So we made more chili paste for people Online ′′
.
That event is a news that makes a lot of depression for anyone. We think that Golf is no different. In your eyes, Golf is strong. Golf is hard to support Cartoon because of the word ′′ mom ′′ that pushes you to golf. Powerful.
.
′′ As soon as we know we will have a baby, we know that our lives will change. We are prepared for everything and always think that no matter what happens, we will love our children and take care of them the best. But this incident exceeds our expectations. It happened too soon. We used to have a cute baby. We thought we loved our baby so much. But when this happens, we love our baby more because we have to be the whole world for him to take care of him more. We don't have time. What do you blame or think why this has to happen to us because our child needs a strong person to take care of him
.
If you go back ten years ago, Golf would be another happy family. Have a lovely daughter and have a well-taken care of husband. But today only myself and the kids that brother Golf are waiting for the miracle for you to be back normal again.
.
′′ In the beginning, there are many times that we can't get over it and hope that there is a miracle for us and our children. But when we start to be conscious and live with what happened, we think that above all miracles is love from our family. We are lucky to have mental support from parents. We keep supporting us when we are discouraged. We see the development of our children. We see them grow everyday. Even if they can't satisfy us much. But in motherhood, we can hug each other. We know everything. What we do for someone, we stop hoping for a miracle because for us, a miracle happens once when we give birth to one person. The rest is our duty to take care of him the best
.
In a world where relationships are full of caves and conditions. One unconditional relationship and no matter what, there is no less or depleted.
.
′′ We thought that we would have different requirements with our child because we want him to grow up the best. But when we are really mother, we can't do that in this world. There are many requirements to limit our children's lives. We have a duty. Just stay beside him and let him live the way he should be. This is a mother's perspective. No matter how normal we are, we want him to be happy. That's all we can do. We can do anything we can do. All gone ′′
.
A small shop in front of a small place with more than 60 menus to choose from. Try ′′ soft pork steak ′′ (79 baht) that uses soft neck ridge. Grilled until it's ripe. Crunchy on the outside. Soft at the price worth the price. Or it's a ′′ drunk fried spaghetti ′′ (59 baht) that tastes hot and sea feathers without a gag 👍🏼
.
If you are not convenient to come to support us, you can help buy the chili paste that Khun Golf made by yourself. There are many options for ′′ pork chili paste ′′ (180 baht). Big pork with spicy side dishes. A jar of ′′ Catfish chili paste / Slim fried ginger chili paste ′′ (80 baht per bag) which is both spicy and not spicy. Fried until crispy. Seasoned to the heart. Hot rice is better and ′′ Chili paste ′′ Clams ′′ (150 baht). Full of shellfish. Mixed with crispy fish meat. It fits together. 😋
.
With this full meal, we can feel satisfied with eating because it's indirectly helping Cartoon because Golf says that there are many people who want to help. But Golf doesn't want to ask for money for free. At least we use our efforts to help. If you are better than anyone, you can support us. The steak restaurant, mother cartoon, opposite Kasikorn, headquarters or call 088-018-5575 or order LINE MAN to make a fund to help cartoon, both steak and chili paste. Ready to deliver. Fresh chili paste to your hand. 🥰
.
It's been a long time since half of the year. It's a difficult and tiring year. Don't forget to take a big encouragement from mother on this holiday. There may be true love and good things waiting for us.

Few of us can do great things, but all of us can do small things with great love.

Let’s talk about….. Little Yellow Flower
Many years back, I went to Yunnan with my friend. It was a sunny afternoon. Our car was driving along the road, both sides covered in vast fresh and green grassland. The heavy clouds were hanging so low that you will feel as though as it is within reach just by stretching out your hands while tip-toeing. Also, passing through the clouds, were the divine looking crepuscular rays sprinkling over the grasses…. It was really, really beautiful and magnificent.
I just could not help it but to request for the chauffeur to pull up by the roadside, running into the grassland to take a picture. I walked and followed the ray’s directions in the lush green grassland towards a spot where there were just many small little radiant looking yellow flowers. I pointed the long camera lens towards one of the little yellow flower, wanting to keep its brilliances while under the sunshine.
Taking a closer look at the flower, I was suddenly deeply moved. The petals of this little yellow flower are heart-shaped. It seems to be saying “I Love You” to me through the camera lens. Perhaps it was the one who is calling me, letting us meet and bestowing me a sense of powerful love.
In the year 2007, with the initiative from Charlie Young, who is one of my best friends, and together with Gigi Leung and Valen Hsu, we decided to set up an education charity Foundation for the children.
When we were naming the Foundation, I thought of the little yellow flower which was full of love and proposed to use “Little Yellow Flower” as the name of the Foundation.
The little yellow flower is a flower which grows in the wilderness. It has to grow under the harsh environment, experiencing the beating weather like the scorching hot sun, drenching under the rain and bracing itself in the forceful windy storms. Yet it endures and accepts it bravely, growing into a splendid looking little yellow flower, shining radiantly and brightly.
This spirit can be used to encourage the children of poor families and communities. Through the Foundation, it enables us to transmit our love to nourish their soul and become their sunshine.
After deciding to use this name, I gave this picture to my daughter and the Little Yellow Flower logo which you all see today is actually drawn by her who was only 8 years old at that time.
Year 2008, I returned to my homeland. End of 2010, we started to provide free lunch for the children in the slum area and in 2012, we are registered formally in Malaysia.
10 years… from providing free lunch program in the slum areas, and now at present, we have 2 centers known as “Little Yellow Flower Wonderland”; Taking care of more than one hundred children from poor families, providing them free nutritious lunch, education, extra curriculums, fun learning and future planning…..During this pandemic and Movement Control Order period, we have purchased, donated Personal Protection Equipment and goods which are medically treated to the hospitals and also provided essential needs and food for over 600 poor families and individuals.
During this journey, with the original intention of the Foundation, all the staffs in Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation, sensed the deep power of love.
These children have lighten up our innermost compassion, allowing us to realize that love is the nutrient that makes us more powerful. However, this strength is not intensive, not aggressive, not arrogant but rather one that is much gentler, tender and warm.
I have read Mother Teresa’s biography many years ago. Throughout her life, her entire assets consist of only a Jesus statue, 3 sets of clothes and a pair of sandals. She served countless numbers of the poor and cared for the sick who are at the brink of death in India. She devoted her life to the poor, allowing them to be respected, cared for and loved.
She has said: “Love yourself, Love others, Love everything in life that needs to be loved. Even if life is as tiny as a wick, when ignited, it is able to illuminate oneself and also others. So much so that you may even try to light up the whole world.”
The corners of my eyes would easily tear up whenever I look back at Mother Teresa’s achievements or quotes, even though it is just those few simple words.
With the intention of “Must feed these children” from 10 years ago up to today, to be able to combine the strength from the public together to care for these poor, I am forever, over and over again filled with gratefulness.
Many people think that to serve in charitable work is very difficult. Difficult to find like-minded partners in this modern society where it is all about fame and profit. But during these 10 years, ever since engaging in this charitable work, I have met many great and kind-hearted people. It is also because of this work, I am able to meet up with a lot of successful people from various industries (people who are not in the entertainment industry). These people are also actively involved and committed in charitable work. This reminded and gave me a great sense of energy, strength and warmth still exists in the society.
Because of this care and love, it has opened up my mind, heart, eyes and my whole world.
During the Movement Control Order, due to the enormous responses from the fundraising event, all the 5 staffs in Little Yellow Flower were extremely busy.
Every day, they are busy receiving donation, processing documents, responding to the donors’ messages, regularly updating the public about the funds raised and used, finding out about the condition and needs of our local poor families, refugees and migrant workers. Making orders, preparing and delivering out essentials and food to these families in need, handling orders and making arrangements for the medical personal protection equipment.
When the Movement Control Order restrictions were relaxed, they are now busy with visitations to households of special cases and nursing homes to further understand their situation, to be able to provide them long-term support.
They are awfully busy and very tired but they told me this: “We are deeply moved. Never have we thought that there will be a day when the country would be in difficulties and we would be heavily involved, working together with so many kind people whom we have never met before to provide assistance to the people living on the same land as us.”
I love my workmates very, very much. This work is able to continuously grow and develop because of their participation. It is because of their efforts, more poor people are being cared for.
Although Mother Teresa has left this earthly world, her spirit and energy is still exerting powerful influences and guidance. To those of us who are still in this secular world, as she has said: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
P/S:
A) Thank you very much to all volunteers who have helped out during this period of time.

Isaac, Joy and Papa Go Japan: Day 3 and 4, Higashikawa, Otaru, Sounkyo and Asahidake
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I did not plan to drive around the entire island of Hokkaido in the few days we had. It would not be practical or fun. So I decided to keep things within the centre of Hokkaido.
From Shikotsuko, we drove to Higashikawa (my favourite town) and stayed at my friends’ B&B. Dinner was spent watching the Rugby World Cup Finals with my friends (they were rooting for England) while Isaac and Joy played with their kids, who were a few years younger. Jody and Nina adore big sister Joy, whom they met when she came visiting during my solo trip with her when she turned 12, and the girls were happy to see her again.
The next morning, we set off again, without any plans once more. I thought, perhaps we could drive out to Otaru, just to have a look. Frankly, it was just an excuse to drive, as the drive itself is very pleasant. I told them, “Otaru is famous for their canals.”
Joy asked, “And?”
“That’s pretty much it,” I said. It is one big tourist trap, to be honest, and I told them, “Essentially, we are driving all the way to see Otaru’s Long Kangs.” They laughed and were cool with their father’s rather stupid travel plans.
“The canals are actually quite nice when it is winter, to be honest,” I added, trying to make it sound a bit more exciting.
When we got to Otaru, I found a parking lot near the canals and was quite pleased it said ¥100 for 30 minutes. After parking, I realized I read it wrongly and it was actually ¥400 for 30 minutes during the day, and ¥100 for 30 minutes AT NIGHT.
“We better not stay too long,” I told the kids. Joy, the financially-minded of the two, said, “Ya, not worth paying that kind of parking for Long Kang.”
So we snapped some photos, walked around the food court a bit, and then left Otaru. I figured we would get lunch further away, en route to Sounkyo, where we planned to stay the night.
Sounkyo is a quaint mountain resort area, located in Kamikawa. It is considered a touristy place, but a good base to hike Daisetsuzan National Park from. We stopped at a ramen place in Kamikawa called Yoshino, just off the highway. And wow, the ramen was great. They even had thick slices of Miton roast pork available as a side, in limited quantities. This is part of the fun of road trips: stumbling upon good places to eat.
After eating at Yoshino, we drove on to Sounkyo and stopped at the Twin Waterfalls rest stop. That was when we encountered some serious cold and wind chill. It was -1ºC and windy there. We looked at the majestic cliffs for a bit, stared at the waterfall which was not flowing very rapidly (Spring is when the ice melts and you get a grander sight) and then we ran into the souvenir store to enjoy some heat.
The store ladies were so kind, and offered us cups of soup. They had a hot pot set up with paper cups to serve their customers, and we were very thankful for the soup. So much so that I felt I had to buy some stuff there, in gratitude. I bought some sweets and grapes. You may have seen the Instastory of Joy and me eating said grapes in our ryokan later, and attempting to spit the seeds into the bowl.
I asked the kids if they wanted to climb the stairs to the viewing platform but the sign said, “20 minutes” and there was a sign to look out for bears. So we chickened out. Actually we were just lazy. It was too much of a climb on a cold autumn’s day just to see two off-peak waterfalls.
We finally checked into Kumoi Hotel, a nice little place that was renovated only two years ago. Many of these onsen hotels in areas like this tend to be old and tired. A couple of the hotels I saw along the way had signs with missing words in their names. But not the Kumoi.
The kids had to set up the futon beds themselves, something they learned to do in our first house, and I have to say, it is handy having two assistants to set up the beds.
At least this Sounkyo area had three restaurants open till 8pm, so we did not need to tabao food. We chose an Italian place called Bear Grill, run by a handsome old man who made great food.
We also stopped by the Seicomart, the FamilyMart of Hokkaido, to resupply our drinks and junk food. And then retired to our hotel.
Because the Kumoi has its own onsen baths, I took the kids to the baths and taught the son how it works. Joy already had some experience in our previous trip so she was fine. The son took some convincing. “Nobody will look at your junk lah,” I assured him.
I gave him pointers on how to use an onsen, like putting a small towel on his head, and using the same small towel to cover his lower bits. The butt, that one cannot cover, the small towel was not big enough.
The kids enjoyed the onsen experience thoroughly, and we vowed to do it again when we could. And we ended our night at Sounkyo with a movie screening in the room, where I introduced them to The Matrix. Suffice to say, their minds were blown.
The next morning we drove back towards Higashikawa and stopped at the Seven Stars Tree. It is a scenic spot where, I later learned, a famous oak tree, that was once used on the packaging of seven stars tobacco, stood.
I only found out when I got to the Tree. Great, we drove all this way to see a cigarette advertisement. But the view was really nice lah. So it was not for nothing.
We also made a stop at the Shirogane Blue Pond, which was recently upgraded with new viewing platforms and lights. There, we spotted some dumb tourists taking photos on a tree branch that grew over the water. This is why we can’t have nice things.
By then it was close to sunset, and I didn’t want to drive in the dark, so we drove to Hotel Bear Monte, near Asahidake mountain, where I booked a night in this bigger, fancier onsen hotel. It took a lot of talking to convince the kids that it is okay to walk around the hotel in our yukata. And even to have the buffet dinner wearing our takata.
“This is how the farmers used to do it, on their vacations to onsen hotels,” I told the kids. They looked a little skeptical but took to it eventually. So we walked here walked there, like a boss, in our yukatas.
Like Japanese farmers on their winter onsen vacations.

George Karl couldn't have drawn up his 800th win any better -- playing short-handed, making up plays on the fly in timeouts, inclement weather outside.
This was his kind of game. That's why the Nuggets coach was all smiles after getting his milestone victory in Denver's 112-98 win over the Seattle SuperSonics -- his former team -- on Thursday night.
Karl was handed a Denver jersey with No. 800 on it along with the game ball after beating the Sonics to become only the 12th coach in NBA history to reach the 800-win mark.
"Tonight's game was fun because I thought from the minute they went on the court they thought they were going to win the game," said Karl, who's 800-555 in 19 seasons. "Coach (Dean) Smith told me a long time ago that if you can't accept that players win and coaches lose, then don't get into coaching. You can be the greatest coach in the world, but if you don't have players, you aren't going to win in the NBA."
Karl has a superstar in Allen Iverson, who finished with 44 points and 10 assists. Iverson had his highest-scoring game since being acquired by Denver in a trade with Philadelphia on Dec. 19. His season high is 46 against Chicago on Nov. 24.
"He's good," Karl said. "He's better than I thought and I thought he was (darn) good."
After coming out of the lineup with 1:04 remaining, Iverson and Karl had a brief conversation and then a quick hug.
"To be a part of something like that is something to cherish," Iverson said. "It was an honor to help him get that win."
Nothing the Sonics did worked against Iverson. He's now scored 40 or more points in 77 career games, which ties Oscar Robertson for fourth in NBA history.
"He was something," Seattle coach Bob Hill said.
Karl doesn't take any added satisfaction that the win came against a Seattle team that ran him off after the 1997-98 season. Karl said he no longer has any bitterness toward the franchise he helped lead to the NBA finals in 1996.
"This win against Seattle is special because Seattle was a big part of my career," Karl said.
He even improvised a couple of times during the game, making up plays and watching them work to perfection.
"This team just thinks it's going to win even being undermanned," he said.
Karl's first win was Nov. 15, 1984, against Atlanta when he was coaching Cleveland. He'd started the season 0-9 and never thought he'd reach this type of accomplishment.
"When I first started, I thought 250 (games) would be great," he said. "I thought 250 and you'd retire into a college job and coach into the sunset."
Earl Boykins added 24 points, and Reggie Evans had a season-high 18 rebounds for the Nuggets.
Damien Wilkins matched his career high with 26 points, and Luke Ridnour finished with 16 points for the Sonics.
"We just wanted to get out of here tonight," Wilkins said.
Both teams did. Another major snowstorm blanketed Denver on Thursday and the Nuggets and Sonics both made dashes for the airport after the game to get out of town for their road games Friday night. The Nuggets will play in Oklahoma City, and Seattle will travel to Minnesota.
Seattle star Ray Allen didn't make the trip to Denver after his fiancee gave birth to a boy Wednesday, but may rejoin the team Friday night in Minnesota. Allen has been bothered by a right ankle injury that's kept him out of three of the last five games.
Denver's Marcus Camby missed his third straight game with a fractured right finger on his shooting hand. With Nene out as well with a right knee injury, the Nuggets gave Jamal Sampson his third career start. He finished with seven points and nine rebounds.
Denver used its fourth different lineup in four games since Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith were suspended for their roles in a brawl against the New York Knicks on Dec. 16. Denver is 3-1 without Anthony and Smith.
"There's not a whole bunch of pressure," Iverson said of being short-handed. "I just feel like all of us are going to have to do it together. It's going to be a team effort."
