You Are a Present 💝
In this day and age, I find myself constantly bombarded with gorgeous images of celebrities and stars through movies, television and social media. I find myself constantly wanting to be more like them, more curvaceous like them, more beautiful like them, living a more lavish lifestyle or going on more luxurious vacations. But when I go to bed every night, my heart always seems to be anxious and unsatisfied. I remember God always reminding me in a still small voice that I am more than enough. Instead of comparing myself to anyone else, what I can do is become the best Grace Wong that I can be, then I am already a gift to this world. My passions for acting, dancing, singing, my marriage, my church (group of brothers and sisters sharing the same faith in Jesus Christ), my love for myself and all those around me, when I give my all to do everything to my best ability and do things with joy and excitement, I am already being the best that I can be. Today on International Woman’s Day I want to remind all my ladies that each and every one of you are a Present to the world! When you can focus on being your best, be kind, be hardworking, be passionate, be caring, be courageous, be fearless, be unapologetically yourself, you are already shining your own Light in the world! I pray today that each of you can see how worthy you are, how special and precious you are, it’s not about the exterior but let your light shine from within! Sending love to you all!
