For anyone interested in learning Chinese, we have recently got to know a friend called Hsueh ShaoLan who's developed a great way to start out learning Chinese, especially if you're interested in the characters! She's also just shared our song :)!

Hello friends! Shall we have a little bit of music to welcome our upcoming weekend?

I had a super intensive week. First I went to TED Global in Edinburgh for a few days. Then I came back to London for a gathering in Downing Street (YES! That Downing Street!). I then rushed to Hertfordshire for another amazing conference called Founder’s Forum. And of course, everyone loves Chineasy (yay!). :D

One of the friends in Chineasy Club approached me a few weeks ago. His name is Josh Edbrooke. Josh is a member of Transition, a rock band based in Bristol. Josh and I had green tea one afternoon and I just fell in love with their music.

The coolest thing is that all the three members in the team sing in Chinese! Josh spent a few years in Taiwan and learned how to speak and write Chinese. He wrote all the lyric himself, and I must tell you, his writing is incredible!

Enjoy the song! And tell me if you like it. Josh and I are now friends and we will share more songs with you.

Miles 是一位真正的英國營養治療師，他影片中所傳達的概念也是我一直想傳達的。
我完全不怕"脂肪" (因為很多 Vegan 好像很怕)，我也很久沒有量體重了，因為 I DON'T CARE

我很喜歡他的影片，每次看都會讓我笑。這裡並無任何合作，我只是真的單純想要分享他的影片，我很欣賞他表達對於「全植物飲食」的想法與概念，同時也非常得...好笑 (或可以說有點瘋狂 // 笑)
此外，他也和我一樣，在青少年時期有經歷過嚴重的飲食失調(eating disorder)。因為我目前還沒有時間錄有關我對這方面的想法、表達出來，所以就想先把他的影片和你們分享，但是英文的啦，所以懂英文的人可以先看，不懂的話...等我的中文版 (我會儘快的)

Miles is a real nutritional therapist in the field, and what he preaches is much the same as I do. (I'm not afraid of fat & don't weight myself for a long time cus I seriously don't care. )

BTW, I also really love his other videos, which make me laugh almost every single time. There's no cooperation here. I just really appreciate his way of delivering his ideas and opinion on the plant-based diet while being humorous (or could I say a little crazy? lol) at the same time. And he also had experienced eating disorder when he was young as I did, so I really want to share his insightful (and funny) videos to you guys, as I haven't had the time to spill my ideas on this issue yet.

這是一段 Dena 與學長 John Mayer 約翰梅爾的愛情故事。

但單戀依舊是單戀，依舊是女孩的「白。日。夢」

繼「妳愛他」好評上架後，甜美有才的 Dena 與超級製作人 Skot Suyama 陶山老師，一同譜寫了今夏最新英文單曲「DAYDREAMING 白日夢」，訴說著女孩在夏天的單戀故事⋯

「DAYDREAMING 白日夢」的靈感，源自於 Dena 對天菜唱作人 John Mayer (約翰梅爾) 的仰慕，並期待某天能有機會對他告白，只可惜現實如此遙遠，Dena 也必須要從這「白日夢」醒來。

Dena 與陶山老師一同寫曲、填詞，兩位音樂人共同將女孩單戀、朝思暮想的心情，透過活潑抒情的方式，完整地刻畫出來。

Daydreaming is a song about my obsession with John Mayer. Dreaming of him noticing me in the crowd; in hopes of one day being able to be with him IRL (in real life); but then I realized that it was all just a dream (ugh, Dena!). I wrote it back in 2014 with a producer I'd always dreamed of working with - Skot Suyama. I remember me tentatively sending in my demo, thinking about the slight chance of working with him, and I couldn't believe it happened. We ended up writing so many more songs together. However, distributing songs back then were an issue if you were under any sort of contract, so we had to keep all these gems hidden for years and years. And now, finally, I am this close to tears in knowing that one of our songs, Daydreaming, is finally officially available to the world! People say that the timing is never truly right, but for this song and for those of you listening, I truly hope it's as close as it can get:) - Dena
