We are living through some crazy, challenging and uncertain times. As a wedding photographer I am sitting here working from home because, like many of you, in the wake of COVID-19 we got to ensure our safety and encouraged ourselves to keep our distance, work remotely if we can. This pandemic is a huge teaching about what we can lose. And so how do we take the most basic simple things in our lives, wrap those things in our gratitude, just be thankful and appreciating the little things in life.
So having the ability to walk or to get outdoors at all, having to spend time with your loved ones, having the privilege to get married during the pandemic. Just seeing all of the ordinary things in our lives as extraordinary, that's the best way to feel grateful all the time, is see everything as an amazing gift that you didn't use to have some people don't have.
You might never have at some point again, and we can't count on things. So when we have them savour them, treasure them, relish them.

My wife and I would highly recommend Samantha Kong Photography to anyone who is interested in having their wedding day captured in the most beautiful possible way! We found out about Samantha and her team from our friends' wedding (we had 2 pair of couples who hired Samantha as their wedding day photographer), and so we thought hey Samantha must be very good at her photographing skills! We later on dug a little more about Samantha Kong Photography on IG and FB, from then we had no doubt that Samantha Kong Photography was the one for us! Samantha was very responsive and attentive, she would even personally discuss with you over the phone, to make sure you have the smoothest wedding rundown possible. She would point out every small detail she would find and very quickly as she is just that pro! We did not have the privilege to hire Samantha as our main photographer on our wedding however, we ended up hiring one of her team - Kammy and Kelvin. Needless to say, they were both very good at their job on the day, very punctual, knows what to do and when to do it. About a day after our wedding, they sent us 1 photo, like a preview photo from the wedding, untouched, unedited or anything, it looked absolutely stunning! It blew our mind with how good they were at using their lights and the surroundings! They kept surprising us with their professionalism!! Worth every dime I must say!
On the other hand, they do a collaboration with Facevor, a AI-based mobile app that recognizes your face from a selfie, to allow you to find all the photos you took by Samantha Kong Photography from the wedding almost immediately, where you can download straight from the the web and upload them anywhere you like, very efficient app guests loved it!

What was originally planned as a 10hrs wedding photo & video package turned into a 14hrs wedding day.
Thoughout the day, my bridemaids and I had five dress changes, John had three and the groomsmen had two dress changes...each time we looked just as beautiful as before~~!!
