Your vibe attracts your tribe! Or I would say, a tribe affects my vibes too! 😍👍🏻
Probably the safest place now, the Ekasup tribe that I visited in Vanuatu was a rare experience. Able to have a short interaction with the tribe and learned about their unique living environment. ♥👍🏻
Almost 100% of their homes and lifestyle depends on the environment. From basic necessities like water, shelter, fires and even weapons and baits are all from the islands. 😍👍🏻
Many of us probably don't feel much of the impact of global warming except probably some change of temperature or delayed seasons! I managed to speak to the tribe people and understand the Pacific islanders actually face a direct impact from global warming. The rise of sea level, frequent and larger storms and changes of weather threatens their survival and affecting their livelihood. 🙏🏻
Just imagine this, someone's irresponsible and selfish actions can directly & heavily affect your way of life! Do you think is fair? 🙏🏻
The pacific islanders are particularly vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters. Plus the current threat of Coronavirus affecting tourism as well. Life is even harder for people living in the Pacific islands. 🙏🏻
I think is time for us to wake up our idea, think about environmental issues again. We have concrete houses to seek refuge and good medical care services, but not everyone has such a privilege. There are many vulnerable lives out there are facing these extreme threats! 🙏🏻
What I like about Peace Boat PeaceBoat Cruise is that they actively educate the passenger by inviting inspiring speakers to speak about environmental issues and how we can play a part. ♥👍🏻
I hope every food wastage we may have, every plastic bags that we may use, every paper and recycled items that we may throw, every piece of meat we may eat, we can spare a thought for millions of lives. Make this world, our home, a more liveable place for ourselves and others too! We play a part! 🥰🙏🏻

how climate change affect us 在 JUJU C. Facebook 的最佳貼文
Sexism and racism are widely acknowledged in recent years. As people bravely speak up for themselves, they begin to earn the treatment they have always deserved as part of this society. But have you heard of the "climate inequality"? For us who live in the city, even if the temperature goes up a degree or two we can just stay indoors under the AC and buy ourselves a cold drink. But for many of those who live in places like South East Asia or Africa, they don't have a choice but to farm under the sun, they don't have easy access or water or energy, let alone an access to the rest or the world. The icebergs melting, causing the adorable polar bears to lose their home is an issue that successfully brought our attention to the crisis of climate change, but I think it is time for us to face the reality, and think about how our actions may affect another ordinary human being in a another corner of this planet. 🌿
