Ever since I introduced my childhood video game Super Mario Bros, my eldest @kingstonleekc has been engrossed with this character. He has been able to name me the characters. From Mario to Bowser, from Toad to Waluigi. Characters which I didn’t even know. All I knew were Mario, Luigi , Princess and Bowser. And im not sure why, he told me his favourite character is Bowser Junior.

Hmm.. Not sure I should be proud of it. But well. He promised me and @wongmewchoo that his excitement with Mario won’t slow down his education, so I will just let him and his bro a half an hour Mario time a day. Funnily, he is quite disciplined with the half an hour permitted. However he uses most of that half an hour to surf YouTube videos on how other players play the Mario games. From the Mario bros 2 which I played when we were young till now the Mario Odyssey series.

Well, today it’s his eighth birthday. No big fancy gifts. All we wanted to do is to give him something that make him smile. So Bowser Junior it is on the cake!!

Haha. Couldn’t explain how big the grin was when he saw these two cakes. It’s like an Awie fan seeing Awie’s face on a cake. That happy!!

Kingston, Happy Eighth Birthday. All daddy and mommy hope from you are for you to grow up to be a good man, and have many good reliable friends. Also… also, please don’t ever feel entitled. (Not sure about other parents out there but that’s the worry I have for my sons)

小时候总觉得日子很长，明明练球练了很久，但还是觉得一天怎么过也过不完。可长大以后，一年时光也不过是转瞬即逝！感觉才把你拥在怀里和看着你牙牙学语，但现在的你已经是我说一句你提出十个反正和所以。

这段日子，我有更多的时间陪伴你和弟弟，每天载你们上课下课，听你说着今天学校里发生的趣事，跟我分享最新的游戏，讨价还价要我给你更多的游戏和看电视的时间...... 这些琐碎的小事，让我都觉得人生变得更完整了。

Kingston 这八年你给我们家里带来了无限的幸福与欢乐，因为有了你，我们才有了生命的希望，因为有了你，我们的世界才充满阳光，希望你要学会好好爱护自己，学会了爱护自己，才能更好的爱护家人。
