因為個人常常在上海太容易吃到好吃卻不貴的本幫菜，在香港和台灣的上海菜就算接近正宗但還是不一樣。再者尤其是秋冬大閘蟹相關的菜式，價錢和量跟上海真的有差，所以沒必要也不會吃。
這間會員制的餐廳，算是香港數一數二的上海菜餐館。 我也是會員但已有好幾年沒有來吃。剛好利用參加的活動在這裡舉辦，回味一下也不錯。火丁甜豆和淸炒河蝦仁好吃但趕不及拍照。蟹粉系列菜式還是跟上海有距離。
As I’m always in Shanghai and get to eat reasonably priced authentic Shanghainese food regularly, even they ones in Taipei and HK are as close to authentic as the ones in Shanghai, they still taste differently. Especially in Fall and Winter hairy crab season, the crab related dishes are still some distance behind, not to mentioned the higher in price and lower in quantity, so unless I have to, I’d not choose to eat Shanghainese food outside Shanghai.
This private Shanghainese membership club is as close as it can get to authentic Shanghainese food and one of the best in town. Though I’m a member here, It has been quite a few years since I last visited. Taking advantage that the event that I attended took place here, it’s good to revisit some dishes. The sweet green beans and river shrimps are my favourite but it was too rush to take photos before others started digging in. Like I said earlier, the hairy crab dishes are still off compare to Shanghai.
