到紐約看美國網球公開賽總決賽，實在精彩絕倫眼界大開，特別鳴謝 Ralph Lauren 的邀請，讓我第一次看這世界四大網球賽的冠軍爭奪戰，$1700美金的前排門票實在一票難求。西班牙的三十三歲拿度對俄羅斯的梅德韋傑夫打足五個鐘，拿度先贏兩局卻被對方後來居上追到平手，看得緊張刺激，我說打耐力賽時後生的總有着數，怎料在旁的李玟和家姐Nancy 說：「咁又未必，比賽都係要講經驗。」最後拿度咬緊牙根作戰到最後一刻，憑毅力和經驗獲勝，成為他的第十九次大滿貫比賽冠軍，打完比賽後雙手掩面抹眼淚，舉起獎杯時無限感觸，看這場比賽我心裡特別有一番感受。其實當網球手和當公關一樣，永遠長江後浪推前浪，後生一輩或許有更多體力和精神，然而經驗也非常重要，頒獎時亞軍首先致詞，他說自己雖然後生，卻深信將來還有很多機會再回到美國網球公開賽。冠軍拿度的演說也很動人，除了特別要多謝團隊，也謝謝對手和他苦戰了五個小時，的確是一場出色的比賽，希望明年能在這裏再次和大家見面。其實你是長江後浪或前浪並不重要，最緊要識英雄重英雄，在球場上在職場上在事業上也要有體育精神，這樣才可以細水長流，大家也要互相扶持，彼此也要屹立不倒。
It is an eyes wide open experience to watch the US Open Final in New York in person and special thanks to Ralph Lauren for the precious ticket!! Rafael Nadal won the first two rounds and Daniel Medvedev caught up for the next two rounds, after playing for over 4 hours I thought the 23 years old Medvedev was going to win as he must have better energy in the long run but Coco Lee and sister Nancy sitting next said, “Well it’s more about the experience,” at the end Nadal won and it was a very touching moment. I guess being a tennis player is like being a PR, the younger ones might have the physical advantage but it is all about the experience. At the ceremony both Medvedev and Nadal made a great speech, at the end it’s the sportsmanship that counts, that’s how we keep the industry alive! 😃🎾
