Living life without social media is a struggle in 2020. Especially if you wanted to do something related to the entertainment industry.
I only have one really good friend and a brother who can really do that.
Notes I jotted down from @redeemereastside ‘s sermon last night :
“It’s this constant craving for more stimulation and entertainment as if the entire universe exist to keep us entertained.
What if in all of our fleeing from boredom is fleeing from places where God does most of his work, in the ordinary and dull.
We tend to want a life with the dull bits cut out.
What if all the boring parts matter to God. Our small lives matters. Small moments of today matter.
God is at work in the ordinary and the question is whether we are paying attention to the encounter of God.
Do we expect to see God’s presence in the ordinary, through small faithful things we do on our day to day basis.
And others might meet god in those ordinary.
Allow ourselves to be ordinary. What if we are the creature, not the creator?”
Then I watched @netflix ‘s @socialdilemma tonight and got me thinking a lot about the meaning of life.
Was not part of my plan to watch redeemer’s east side sunday service and social dilemma these two nights.
