This was a painting I did about 5 years ago for a charity auction for a children’s hospital. Inspired by Klimt’s “Mother and Child” but with some Asian floral variations; orchids and lotus leaves. Something about Klimt fills my heart with joy and I was hoping to capture a tiny bit of that joy on this canvas. ❤️ #klimt #motherandchild
