Edmund and Linh, a husband and wife team and owners of Hundred Acre Creamery, experimented with ice cream making during the circuit breaker period and it turned out to be more than mere interest. The cafe at Clementi had the essence of Hundred Acre Wood as seen in Winnie the Pooh and Linh’s illustration on the walls that added vibrancy to the place.⁣

On their menu is a wide range of items that have both authentic Vietnam flavours and a fusion with local flavours. We ordered the Coco Pandan, that included coconut sorbet, coconut pandan waffle, peanut toppings and gula melaka sauce. They also specially imported butter avocados from Linh’s hometown, Da Lat, Vietnam for the ice cream making process.⁣

Many of you have asked me to share my confinement experiences with you. It’s a really hard topic to cover as there are too many areas to talk about. After two kids, I think I have a better idea on how I would boil this down. So I’ve basically summarised ‘confinement’ into 3 main parts. Hope it makes it easier for you guys to understand.
This is all from my personal experience and what confinement was like for me, there is no right or wrong way. Hope all the mummies/ mummies to be can use this as an introduction, so your postpartum recovery will be a lot more smooth sailing.Many of you have asked me to recommend my confinement nannies to you, however each mother and nanny may have very different expectations with regard to what needs to be done and this can be quite subjective, so I won’t be making any recommendations.

BAHAN2
1. Pisang 5 biji
Bahan A
2. Tepung gandum 1 1/2 cup
3. Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
4. Coklat cip 1/2 cup
5. Baking soda 1 t/s
6. Baking powder 1 t/s
7. Bread improver 1t/s
8. Cinnamon powder 1/2 t/s

Bahan B
9. Brown sugar 1 cup
10. Cooking oil 1 cup
11. Butter 3 spoon
12. Telur 3 biji
13. Vanilla essence 1 t/s

CARA2
1. Lenyekkan pisang dan letak tepi.
2. Gaulkan Bahan2 B hingga sebati dan masukkan pisang. Gaul lg.
3. Masukkan Bahan2 A (yg telah diayak) dan gaul sebati. Masukkan coklat chip.
4. Tuang dalam loyang yg telah digrease dan hias dg potongan pisang dan coklat cip.
5. Bakar dlm oven dg suhu 170°C selama 40-50 minit (mengikut jenis oven)
6. 10 min terakhir turunkan suhu ke 150°C.
7. Siap dan sedia utk dihidang.
