在好奇為何是「天竺鼠+車」的組合前
我們應該先質疑「天竺+鼠」的命名
維基百科的解釋說：
「豚鼠，又名天竺鼠、葵鼠、荷蘭豬」
😮等等！#荷蘭豬？
這麼說來英文也叫 Pig
且並非來自天竺（印度）Tianzhu
而是西非的「幾內亞豬」Guinea Pig
接著來看英文維基百科的說明：
Despite their common name, guinea pigs are not native to Guinea, nor are they closely biologically related to pigs, and the origin of the name is still unclear. They originated in the Andes of South America.
「儘管普遍稱為 #幾內亞豬
卻不是來自幾內亞
在生物學上也跟豬不相近
名稱來源依然不明
這種動物源自南美洲的安第斯山脈」
😡什麼？英文名稱也不可靠！
古人到底在開什麼玩笑
老鼠的名稱能這樣亂取嗎？
害牠們失去國家認同感怎麼辦～
Studies based on biochemistry and hybridization suggest they are domesticated descendants of a closely related species of cavy, and do not exist naturally in the wild. They were originally domesticated as livestock, for a source of meat, and continue to be consumed as food.

The animals were used so frequently as model organisms in the 19th and 20th centuries that the epithet guinea pig came into use to describe a human test subject. Since that time, they have been largely replaced by other rodents, such as mice and rats.
「這種動物於19和20世紀
被廣泛當成 #模式生物
而變成人體試驗對象的綽號
後來普遍被其他鼠類取代。」
🐭也就是中文俗稱的「白老鼠」
在英文要譯成 guinea pig
例如：他自願當這場實驗的白老鼠
He volunteered to act as a guinea pig in the experiment.
