昨天率先試食了這款「生機朱古力」,賣相吸引之餘,味道更是令人覺得驚喜連連,非常創新!「玉桂香橙蘋果流心朱古力」,玉桂香橙蘋果不會互相搶風頭,味道非常夾,不太愛玉桂味的我,居然最喜歡這款;「椰棗軟心朱古力」,運用椰棗本身的甜味再塗上原味生朱古力,甜度非常自然,完全不覺得在食椰棗,以為是軟心朱古力呢;「南瓜籽脆脆朱古力」,使用超多低溫風乾南瓜籽,很爽脆,口感極豐富!

Yesterday, I took the lead in trying this "Raw Vegan Chocolate". Not only is it attractive, but the taste is even more surprising and innovative! "Cinnamon Orange Apple Molten Chocolate", Cinnamon Orange Apple are surprisingly very match. I don't like the Cinnamon flavor, but I actually like this one the most; "Dates Palm Soft Chocolate", using dates to be the sweetness of its own and coated with original raw chocolate. The sweetness is very natural. I don’t feel that I am eating date palms at all. "Pumpkin seed crunchy chocolate" uses a lot of raw and dehydrated pumpkin seeds, which is very crispy, Tte taste is very rich!
I heard that more styles will be launched in these two days, but only these two days! Let me make a preview for you:

[Paris pastry shop / 巴黎甜點店] Jojo&Co La Pâtisserie du Marché

還記得兩年前友人帶我去台中忠信市場時,我對傳統市場中的藝文咖啡店、書店、甜點店等感到很新奇。前兩天因為在搜尋巴黎最近火紅的「Babka」麵包(點開照片有說明喔!),意外發現我家旁邊的傳統市集 Marché d’Aligre 裡的甜點店 Jojo & Co. 就有販賣,所以出門時特地繞過去一趟轉轉。
這家店其實在我之前搜尋其他資訊已經有注意到,但從來沒想過進去瞧瞧。Marché d’Aligre 分成露天與非露天兩區,露天的市集販賣各種新鮮蔬果,號稱是巴黎最便宜的市集;非露天的市場「Marché couvert Beauvau」則位於歷史悠久、深受建築迷喜愛的建物中,裡面多半是高級的起司、肉舖、熟食店等,Jojo & Co. 則是其中唯一的一家甜點店。店面是清新的湖水綠色,所有的商品陳列方式都非常精緻可愛,是有點慧黠的法式少女風。
店裡除了新鮮甜點外,也有包括布里歐許、可頌等各種維也納麵包類,另外也有磅蛋糕、法式沙布列餅乾(sablé),以及在巴黎已經流行一段時間的美式餅乾(cookie)等。所有的產品都是在店面後方的廚房裡製作。女主人 Johanna Roques (Jojo) 之前在電視媒體圈擔任影像編輯的工作,但後來決心離職轉換跑道,對甜點的熱情支持她拿到甜點師資格證書 CAP,在幾家巴黎甜點店實習過後,她於 2014 年 4 月開了自己的店Jojo & Co.,現在除了 Marché d’Aligre 的總店外,還有一家位於 9 區的分店。
既然是因為 Babka 去的,當然一定要來一片,我另外還買了千層酥皮布里歐許麵包(brioche feuilletée)與巧克力覆盆子酥皮麵包捲(roulé chocolat-framboise)。Jojo & Co. 使用有機蛋、法國 AOP 認證的 Charentes-Poitou 產區奶油、與法芙娜(Valrhona)巧克力,高品質的原料經過用心製作,確實一入口就嚐得出來。千層酥皮布里歐許麵包有著滿滿的奶油香氣,外表酥脆、內裡充滿彈力,很令人印象深刻。

I’ve recently read that following cinnamon rolls, babka has become the new hit in Paris. As I had never tasted one and the exotic name is pretty alluring, I decided to find one. I was lucky, as Jojo & Co. in Marché couvert Beauvau seems to offer great babka and other goodies and it’s just right beside my place.
To be honest, I’ve noticed the shop a while ago but never thought of paying a visit as I always pass by the market when rushing to get somewhere else. Marché d’Aligre is divided in two sections, an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed and sold in the open-air market while premium cheese shops, butcheries, épiceries, etc. are housed in the covered market called Marché Beauvau. Jojo & Co. is the only pastry shop that stands out from the crowd. The storefront is in a very refreshing light green color and the shop itself is cute and chic at the same time, like a young French girl.
Besides fresh pastries, a variety of viennoiseries, cakes, sablés, cookies, etc. are available in the shop. All of them are made in the adjacent labo. Johanna Roques (Jojo) was an editor of film trailers but decided to switch her career after years working in audiovisual media. She got her CAP certificate in pastry, interned in different Parisian pastry shops, and then finally opened her own one in April 2014. Besides the cute little shop in Marché d’Aligre, Jojo & Co. now has a second boutique in the 9th arrondissement in Paris.
I had picked a slice of the famous babka, a brioche feuilletée, and a roulé chocolat-framboise. Jojo & Co. makes their products with organic eggs, AOP Charentes-Poitou butter, and Valrhona chocolate, all good quality ingredients that you could really taste. I was especially impressed by the brioche feuilletée that was crispy outside and a little chewy inside with a very pronounced aroma of butter.

Hi, everyone :) Today we’re going to show you how to make French Toast in the French Style. (Pain Perdu)
Nothing can beat a lazy weekend brunch to relax after a busy! French toast is a wonderful way of starting the weekend morning. In french, people call it “Pain Perdu” means “lost bread”, referring to this dish can rescue stale bread to be a delicious food. Stale bread is also the most important ingredient of French toast. Because a drier bread will soak up all the custard and then cooked in a pan until golden brown of each side. The interior of the bread is a softy custardy taste.
This recipe is amazing and easy to make, even a child can make it. It can be topped with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, maple syrup or honey. Hope you like this video. Enjoy. :)

Classic Peanut Butter cookies recipe
☞ this recipe can make 4 thick slices
Ingredients
milk 120ml
whipping cream 50ml
egg 1
cinnamon powder ½ tsp
brown sugar 30g
few drops of vanilla extract
unsalted butter 20g
baguette 4 slices, cut into 4-5 cm thickness

Instructions
1. Slice 4 baguette bread into 4-5cm thickness. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder, until smooth.
3. Pour milk and whipping cream, mix well.
4. Place a bread slice into the custard mixture to soak well on both sides. Transfer bread slices in a deep wide bowl.
5. Pour the rest of egg mixture, soak each side of bread for 3 minutes.
6. Sprinkle sugar on top. Heat a frying pan on medium heat, coat it with butter. Place the slices in, the sugar side forward the pan.
7. In the meanwhile, sprinkle sugar on another side, cook until both side are golden brown and crispy.
8. Remove bread slices from frying pan, ,dust with powdered sugar and pour honey or maple syrup. It's down. Enjoy!
