天啊，兩歲是個讓家長煩惱的年紀…… Kali 開始有自己的想法並開始懂的表達自己。她愛玩，愛笑，更愛開玩笑，有時會用開玩笑的方式將她的碗和盤子打翻。她也非常依賴某些物品，比如說特定的沐浴玩具、絨毛布偶、衣服，甚至是兒童餐具。

Miniware也幫助孩子們越來越獨立的學習吃飯，不僅外觀非常簡約美型，和我們使用的餐具沒什麼差異，很有大人味。整套餐具的設計也非常直觀，大寶好握拿、好挖食，當Kali第一次拿起叉子和勺子時，她就知道可以將它們直立起來，而且搭配超美的花瓣盤，食物看起來更美味，還能分隔湯湯水水，這也是她喜歡在任何地方使用這套餐具的原因之一。即使是在遊戲室吃她的小零嘴時，我們只需要把她的零食放在花瓣分隔盤上，然後大寶吃完後只要快速沖洗一下，就可以放回盤子上，當晚餐時間到時再拿出來使用。

Ah, the terrible twos... Kali is starting to have her own opinion and really express herself. She loves to play, she loves to laugh, and she loves to crack jokes. That includes flipping her bowls and plates on the floor. She also gets pretty attached to certain things like specific bath toys, stuffed animals, clothes, and yes, even dinnerware.

The first time we introduced her to her first Miniware set, she immediately loved it! We do, too, as it has significantly reduced kiddie clutter at dinner time. Miniware's plates and bowls come with removable, interchangeable suction mats that simply stick to the surface, which comes in handy when Kali tries to push her plates and bowls off the table. It’s definitely a must have!

The Miniware set does a great job at helping kids feel more independent; the set doesn't look like other kids' dinnerware that are drastically different from what their parents are using. The set is also super intuitive. The moment Kali picked up the fork and spoon, she placed them upright, which is one of the reasons she likes to use this set everywhere - even during snack times in her playroom. We just put her snacks on the 矽膠聰明分隔盤 and then give it a quick wash and use it again for dinner on top of the plate.

What’s one thing that comes to your mind when you think of Aaron? “His sweet smile” says Papa.

You always smile so cheekily! It’s like you have something up your sleeves. You would take a piece of tissue to clean the table. After 3 wipes, run to the bin and come back to proudly tell us “Throw”! We will tell you “Cannot waste! Yeye beat!” The playful you will beat your hand to show us how yeye would lightly slap your hand if he’s home.

Aaron is 18 months old! That’s 1 and a half years of you, my dearest sonshine. You still prefer to call me Mimi which is music to my ears! You can baby-call me “mimi” for as long as you like because I know that I will miss that baby you very soon. You are still speaking mostly 1 syllabus words and some new favorite words include, mei mei, kor kor, there, nice, car, bus, throw, bang, yes, no, piggy, bubbles, egg, bread and please! Bao bao is still ba ba now. You take instructions well, better on things that interest you - like making coffee with papa and we tell you “Want to cycle?” You will run to your shoe rack, take your helmet! You love car rides and the vehicles on the road. You will look out of the windows and very excitedly exclaim “Mimi mimi!”! I don’t even have to turn to know that you are pointing at the vehicle in front of us. You will only stop calling mimi after I have acknowledged you by saying “Oh yes, is that the bus, Aaron!” You will do a slow nod, with eyes closed and say mmm!

You are still unadventurous with food, extremely particular with appearance of food. You refused red bean pancake because it’s reddish black. Your favorite food are snacks and eggs - any way we prepare, you love it! Snack reward system hasn’t worked on you - to you, no means no.

You have 8 upper teeth and 8 lower teeth, which is 3 more lower teeth from last month! You are growing way too fast, my love. It’s such a dilemma, loving to see you meet milestones yet wanting you to grow up slow. Sigh… nonetheless, I’m enjoying all the time I have with you before we start you at preschool in January 2022, when you’re 2 years old. Happy 18 months old, Aaron boy. I love you so so much! This might not win me friends but it must be said…

Not everyone is meant to be a trader. Yup, you read me right. Not everyone is meant for trading.

Why?

Because trading involves risk and not everyone can embrace risk in the same manner.

Here’s a true story…

When I was studying in polytechnic at 18 years old, I owed John (not his real name) 10 cents for a reason I can’t recall.

To most of you, it’s only 10 cents and you probably would forget about it — heck some of you might even tell me to keep the change.

But no, not for John.

He pursued me high and low for the 10 cents, pulled the collar of my tee-shirt, and strongly demanded…

…for his 10 cents (or there will be blood, ok I’m kidding the blood part).

But you get my point.

And yes, I should have quickly returned the 10 cents as it’s morally right to do so.

Clearly, John isn’t someone meant for trading because the pain of losing money hurts him too much.

Now you’re probably wondering:

“How do I know if trading is for me?”

For starters, you must be comfortable with risk-taking.

If a small loss bothers till you can’t sleep at night, or you keep thinking about it the whole day, then trading is probably not for you.

And there’s no shame in that because not everyone is meant to be a trader. Just like how not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur, an employee, or an Olympian.

Now, here’s the good news…

Just because you quit trading doesn’t mean it’s for good. You can always come back when you’re ready as the market is always around.

So here are a few things to help you get back on track…

#1: Pay off your debts

You want to start at ground zero and not put yourself at a (psychological and financial) disadvantage.

So, pay off your credit card debts, the money you owe others, etc.

Once you’re at a clean slate, that’s where you can work your way up.

#2: Get a job

The last thing you want is to rely on trading to pay your bills — that’s a recipe for disaster.

So get a job and have a regular source of income. When you can put food on the table without worries, you’re in a better mental position to trade because you’re trading with money you can afford to lose.

#3: Trade the higher timeframe

Trading the higher timeframe offers numerous benefits…

- It’s less stressful as the market moves “slower” and you have more time to make decisions
- You can have a full-time job which reduces your opportunity cost
- It requires less screen time which allows you to do the things you love

And finally…

#4: Take time away from trading

When you feel that you can’t trade anymore or you don’t know what you’re doing, take a break from trading. Walk away.

When you’ve got nothing on the line, you can re-evaluate what went wrong and how to improve on things.

So take time away to “reset” your mind, then come back stronger to fight again.

Today I'd like to share a video of my collaboration with Nunobukuro Sensei of Old Martial Arts Table Tennis.
I have always had problems with slow drives, light balls, and balls that are straightforward and easy to return (at the level I want to win at nationally), and I recognize that I have not been able to win any games now mainly due to "low ball quality", but when I told my problems to Nubukuro-sensei of kobujutsu table tennis, he changed me into a different person through physical manipulation.

This state of affairs is just "I know and understand how to do it", so can I get it out on a regular basis? That being said, you'll definitely need to practice to help it settle in.
