After getting complete blood and urine tests at BodyConscious Bkk with an hour long consultation each about what supplements and lifestyle changes we need to move closer towards optimal health, Byron and I received another round of acupuncture and sound healing. Ahhhhh so peaceful 🥰🥰🥰
This was after Byron’s Shockwave Therapy to specifically target his chronic shoulder pain due to old neck injury. ( He broke his neck pole vaulting at age 18) Look at the size of the needles in his head! 😱 But apparently they acted as a strong pain relief and he was flying high on endorphins afterwards with a big goofy grin on his face 😂 He will need to do these weekly to treat the years of lack of mobility due to fused vertebra and metal pin in his neck but so far it seems to be doing something. Will let you know how it goes!
As for me, I was given a special Gut Health Massage for my digestive issues and emotional blockages. Based on the same technique as Chi Nei Tsang, which helps release stress and promotes healing by using techniques of massage directly over the navel and surrounding abdominal area where stress, tension and negative emotions accumulate and congest. Apparently I’m storing a fair amount of stress and anxiety said the therapist as she kneaded and rolled around my gut. Gives a whole new meaning to having a “knot in your belly” 😅 Immediately after I felt a deep sense of ease and was able to breathe more deeply (which is essentially the key to release of stress and negative emotions)

Feel like you’re doing everything right yet the scale just won’t seem to budge? If you’re frustrated with your fat loss progress, you might be making one, or many, of these mistakes.

Bites, licks, and tastes, while seemingly innocent, cause calories to add up over time. If you know you’re guilty of this, take a week or two and really try not eating anything outside your planned meals and/or snacks.

For many dieters, it’s easy to stay on track during the week, but come the weekend all bets are off. It doesn’t matter if you’re perfect Monday-Friday, overeating on the weekend, can undo all the progress you made the days before.

You can be eating nothing but the healthiest foods and still not lose fat. Nuts and nut butters, olive and coconut oil, avocado, etc. while all healthy, pack a big caloric punch. Not to say don’t eat them, but do be mindful of how much you’re eating.

Portion distortion can easily sabotage fat loss. A heaping tablespoon instead of a leveled one can be the difference in at least 50 extra calories.

Doing all the exercise with no days off? Might seem like the right thing to do, but not giving your body days off to recover can increase cortisol and cause water retention and fat gain.

If you’re killing it in the gym but sitting on your butt the rest of the day, then you’re probably not burning that many calories. Increasing your non exercise activity is an easy way to start seeing some progress.

You can’t diet forever without your metabolism slowing down, meaning you’ll be burning fewer calories overall. You should only be dieting for 8-12 weeks at a time a few times per year.

Chronic inflammation from too much exercise, unmanaged stress, not enough sleep, gut infections, food intolerances, etc. all increase cortisol and prevent fat loss or even lead to weight gain.

Ye betul exercise boleh membantu to tone concern areas to make it tighter, but at the end of the day, if your diet still S***, you just gonna be bulky and not gonna see any result.

Fat loss berlaku secara keseluruhan. Meaning, if you workout, you will never know which area you will lose fat 1st. Hence, if you workout and nak preserve size at certain area (ladies u know what I mean) it ain’t gonna happen girl. It really depends on your luck. Mana yang unlucky. That thing will lose 1st, sebab it’s fat anyways. Mana yang lucky, yang turun area tummy or peha than, it’s great!

1. FIX YOUR DIET! Exercise everyday pun, but u didn’t fix your diet, that fat ain’t gonna go away anytime soon.

2. There is no such thing as exercise Khas to kecilkan perut, peha etc. Exercise can help tone, build and shape the area and play small part to help you burn overall fat in your body. Nak targeted fat loss? Liposuction lah jawabnya, which it can be dangerous.

3. DIET TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH Bukan sebab nak Kurus. So eat well and nourish your body with nutritious food so you can live longer, healthier and stay away from chronic illness like diabetes, hypertension etc.
