Child-led Play
This is some of Joreen lego creation. Mama is amazed how she build everything from scratch without any guidance! Mama also realised she loves to do symmetrical lego build!
Then Joreen decided to get a blank A4 paper & started drawing using the resources from her newly set up art & craft trolley. She had choosen colour pencil & crayon. When children get to choose what to play & how to play, this build a sense of self-direction and self-confidence in them.

This tip is to get your child interested in writing & reading.
How mama do it?
Using Joreen's earlier doodles, mama ask Joreen to tell more about her pic. Then mama will write down whatever she said in front of her. And tell her, if mama write it down, mama can remember what her pic about & can read it in the future. (letting Joreen know the importance of writing)
