The artist has designed a three-dimensional object that embodies the sense of freedom and tranquility felt when by the sea, illustrated in the original painting. This is the third and most ambitious art figure to be released since Pete opened his gallery 10 years ago. These highly collectable figures are limited to just 150 and come in their own designer collector’s box. The female character measures 26cm (H) and 18.5cm (W). Her canine companion measures 13cm (H) and 14cm (W). The figures will be sold exclusively at www.petemckee.com at 10am Monday the 6th of July. Just got some books for world-class illustrator/writer Shirley Hughes to sign at her lovely house :-) 剛剛出差拿書去給英國國寶級的插畫作家Shirley Hughes簽名順便拍照留念，現年已90歲的她還在每天持續創作中，最為著名的書為Alfie系列的圖畫故事書。

她的書陪伴許多英國人長大，所以擁有眾多支持者，每天都會收到很多粉絲的信件，她也人很好的ㄧㄧ回信。剛剛還問我從這寄信到台灣要多少錢，因為她要回台灣粉絲的信：-）

剛剛簽書的地點為她家廚房，陽光灑進，照著那些伴有歲月痕跡的家俱擺設，更增添了藝術家氣氛。
