那天朋友約我吃飯,神秘兮兮地告訴我,有事想請教我!
赴約後,看他一個大男生靦腆的樣子,吱吱嗚嗚地說:我想要減肥!
『我,一定要瘦到xx公斤!(目標)
我,要用間歇性斷食,高蛋白低碳(方法)
我,要開始運動(方法)
但我不知道要怎麼樣持續,才可以像你這麼自律,可以長期維持。
我每次減完達到目標後,沒多久就又打回原形。』

減肥,設定目標、擬定計畫當然重要,瘦下來大部分的人也都可以達到。
但,為什麼還是有那麼多人一直,反覆減肥、復胖、減肥、復胖,最終,自我放棄!
甚至說,算了,我這輩子就是個胖子!
很多人問我,爲什麼我可以這麼自律?乖乖地在健身房承受辛苦的訓練、自煮吃原型食物?
以前我也不明白,爲什麼自己會如此自律!
直到看到『原子習慣』這本書,我終於明白了,原來是~~~
我擁有『身份認同』!⭐️

1. 我正在戒煙 (認為自己還是個抽菸者,只不過想辦法戒煙)
2. 我不抽煙(已摒棄了過去的自己,擁有了新的身份認同)

Lots of people might focus on set a goal, calculating calories or make a perfect meal and exercise plan.
I don’t doubt they are all play a part of reach your goal!
My question is, HOW TO maintain your goal!
To me, the most IMPORTANT is finding WHO I AM?
I am a person WHO exercise regularly.
I am a person WHO feed myself lots of nutrients dense food.
I am a person WHO don’t count the calories but just listen to my body needs!
I am a person WHO will do everything to keep my body and mind joyful !
It is WHO I am defining myself that keep me going to maintain my ultimate health.

NOT DIET culture
NOT because I don’t eat donuts !

寶寶今天滿月了🌕 都不知道新生兒長得那麼快!出生後十三天就長三公分,老人家說「一眠大一吋」果然有理!👶

原本以為懷孕胖不到八公斤(正在寫如何控孕期體重文章中...),代表產後身材很快就會恢復🤰
沒想到產後的四肢水腫真不是蓋的,花了兩個禮拜才消腫😩 明明孕期都沒事!也因此錯過與新生兒拍攝這一系列媽媽與寶寶的比例照片🥲
後來問其他朋友,原來大家產後問題都比產前多(瞬間老十年)...難怪華人要做月子躲在家中修養一個月...😬
話說上次健康檢查護士說一般寶寶一個禮拜大 130-200g,我家兩個禮拜就重將近 400g!護士形容她為 muscular💪金剛芭比無誤啊!難怪上次她亂扭頭撞到我的手臂還腫起來,可怕啊~😝

Baby is one month old today🌕 In the first two weeks she was so quiet, we sometimes forget we have a baby 🤣
She grew 3cm in 13 days!!! Was not expecting babies to grew this quick, missed out on newborn photo opportunity 🥺
Took her for a health check up and the nurse said she grew almost 400g in two weeks! Usually babies grow 130g-200g each week, she's definitely on the faster growing side😬 The nurse described her as a "muscular" baby💪
Honestly was not expecting my body to be this out of shape and sore postpartum 🥺 It's almost like I aged ten years!!! The postpartum edema was worse than I thought, especially I was totally fine during pregnancy 😖
After asking several friends, turns out everyone was on the same boat, except no one talks about it🙄 No wonder Asians go on confinement (hideout) for a month after birth 🤣
Anyways, Melbourne has officially become the city with the longest lockdown in the world 🔐 It's like the while city is in confinement with me..😬

So here we go for another quarantine! I'm in HongKong to film a travel show for TLC, and must do a two weeks quarantine (3 weeks if you are not fully vaccinated). I've decided to use this time to get back in shape after putting on some weight during my trip back to France.
So I'm sharing with you my daily routine which helped me to lose around 4% body fat in two weeks, put me back in shape and helped me to feel good!

マヌルとは韓国語でにんにく。
溶かしたガーリックバターをこれでもかというほど乗せて焼いているから、一口食べればそのまんまのネーミングに納得。
そしてパンの切れ目にはクリームチーズとモッツアレラチーズを容赦無く詰め込むという、罪すぎる作り方…
まさに究極のガーリックパン。
「外側はカリッ、中はジュワ〜」なんてありきたりな言葉じゃ表しきれないほど、罪深い味が口いっぱいに広がります。
ガーリックバターはしょっぱいのに、クリームチーズは甘いんです。
甘しょっぱくて止まらないんです。
本当これは罪だ…もはや、カロリーなんてどうでもいい。

巨大マヌルパン
2人分
材料:
強力粉 220g
薄力粉 20g
インスタントドライイースト 小さじ1
砂糖 大さじ2
お湯(人肌程度に温める) 70cc
牛乳(人肌程度に温める) 100cc
塩 小さじ1/3
バター(室温に戻しておく) 15g
■チーズクリーム
Aクリームチーズ(室温に戻しておく) 120g
A砂糖 20g
モッツァレラチーズ(スライス切り) 100g
■ガーリックソース
バター(電子レンジで加熱して溶かしておく) 100g
おろしにんにく 小さじ2
粗びき黒コショウ 小さじ1/2
牛乳 大さじ1/2
マヨネーズ 大さじ1/2
溶き卵 1/2個
ドライパセリ 小さじ1/2
バター(飾り用) 20g
作り方:
1.大きめのボウルに、強力粉、薄力粉を入れて木ベラで全体を混ぜ合わせ、半量を別のボウルに取り出しておく。
2.片方のボウルに、インスタントドライイースト、砂糖をのせ、インスタントドライイーストの上にお湯、牛乳をかけ、全体をよく混ぜる。
3.もう片方のボウルの粉と、塩、バターを加え、木ベラで全体を練るように混ぜ、ひとまとまりになったら台の上に取り出し、全体がつるんとなるまで手でこねる。
4.丸めてボウルに入れ、ラップをし、オーブンの発酵機能(40度)で30分発酵させる。(1次発酵)
5.チーズクリームを作る。
ボウルにAを入れてよく混ぜ合わせておく。大さじ1分、取り分けておく。
6.ガーリックソースを作る。
ボウルに材料を全て入れ、泡立て器でしっかりと混ぜる。
7.(4)の生地を軽く手でつぶし、包み込むように丸め直し、クッキングシートを敷いた天板に置き、ラップ、濡れ布巾をかけて15分ほど生地を休ませる。
8.濡れ布巾を取り、ラップをしたまま、オーブンの発酵機能(40度)で25分発酵させる。(2次発酵)
9.オーブンを200度に予熱する。
10.生地に強力粉(分量外)を茶こしなどを使ってふり、ナイフで切り目を入れて、予熱したオーブンで15〜20分程焼く。
11.焼成後、粗熱が取れたパンに対角線上に6等分に切り込みを入れ、チーズクリームを塗り込み、モッツアレラチーズを挟む。
12.ガーリックソースを上にかけ、(5)の取り分けておいたチーズクリームを中央にのせ、200度のオーブンで7〜10分ほど焦げないように様子見しながら焼いて完成!

Giant Cream Cheese Garlic Bread: A Taste of Sin…
Servings: 2
INGREDIENTS
220g bread flour
20g flour
1 teaspoon instant dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
70cc warm water (body temperature)
100c milk (body temperature)
1/3 teaspoon salt
15g butter (room temperature)
◆Cheese Cream
120g cream cheese (room temperature)
20g sugar
100g mozzarella cheese (sliced)
◆Garlic Sauce
100g butter (melted in microwave)
2 teaspoons grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon milk
1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 beaten egg
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
20g butter (for topping)
PREPARATION
1. Using a wooden spatula, combine bread flour and flour in a large bowl. Transfer half of it to another bowl.
2. Add dry yeast and sugar into the one of the bowls. Pour warm water and milk over dry yeast. Mix well.
3. Add the other half of flour, salt, and butter into the bowl (2). Mix with a wooden spatula until well combined. Transfer the dough to the kitchen counter and knead with hands until smooth.
4. Shape the dough into a ball and place in a bowl. Cover with a food wrap. Let the dough rise in a microwave (40°C: bread rise feature) for 30 minutes. (First rise)
5. For cheese cream: Mix cream cheese and sugar well in a bowl. Separate 1 tablespoon of it in a plate.
6. For garlic sauce: Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a bowl with a hand mixer.
7. Punch the dough (4) and shape into a ball. Place the dough on a pan lined with a parchment paper. Cover with a food wrap and a wet kitchen towel. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
8. Remove the towel (keep the food wrap). Let the dough rise in a microwave (40°C: bread rise feature) for 25 minutes. (Second rise)
9. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
10. Dust some bread flour and slash the dough. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool.
11. Cut 6 slits in the bread. Spread cheese cream. Put mozzarella cheese in the slits.
12. Pour the garlic sauce over the bread. Place 1 tablespoon of cheese cream (5) on top. Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for 7 to 10 minutes. (Keep an eye on, It easily gets burnt.)
13. Enjoy!

Since I am also a local Malaysian brand. I like to support local products from the local farmers, stores and brands. Today I have Ayam Kampung (village free range chicken) from Ah Lau @Ahlaufking the famous violinist @dennisviolin .. Very healthy looking chicken. Not much fat and affordable, NICE!
So I thought of sharing this recipe with you all. My Poh Poh used to make us stuffed mackerel fish, stuffed chicken and stuffed veggie, which I plan to show soon in the next IGTVs.
You need to prepare this a day ahead. Debone the chicken from the bottom up (by still keeping the whole chicken in shape, don't cut the body), marinate it overnight before you stuff the fillings the next day.
Ingredients :
. one whole chicken
MARINATION-
. 4 Cloves garlic
. lemon juice
. small piece galangal
. 3 tsp soya sauce
. black pepper
. ginger juice
- Grind them to a smooth paste -
FOR THE STUFFING-
. 1kg of minced chicken, it is also depending on the size of your chicken
. Cut spring onions
. Chop 1 big red onion
. Shredded carrot
. Green peas
. 2 cloves chopped garlic
. Sesame Oil
. Salt
. Black Pepper
. Pounded curry leaves
. Chopped coriander
-Mix them all up and leave overnight or at least few hours before using-
FOR ROASTING- You will need some oil or butter , baking paper, black pepper and Thyme.
FOR GARNISHING - use any type of vegetable, or fruits like berries and pineapple or orange.
You may also prepare a sauce of your choice to serve. I like to eat them with my own Mel's Kidnap Me Hot Sauce (you want to know how I make it?)
