The first day in 2018 is also our last of 8 nights in Vietnam. This trip got off to a pretty rough start, with me realising I lost my wedding ring (still praying it’s home somewhere) right when I stepped off the plane, having our first accomodation denying our booking, and then chilly nights in the Sa Pa village with just a pot of charcoal for warmth.. but as with most setbacks, they become stories/lessons with time. It has been a rollercoaster of our @anywhr.co trip, and we later chose to forfeit our 2 nights in Mai Chau and cruised in Halong Bay instead. 😅 Still, thankful that the Anywhr team was very responsive when we needed assistance, and also gave us a free springroll cooking session to bring some cheer to us. So many more Hanoi stories, but you can see those in my IG stories for those who are keen. I document almost everything (much to the annoyance of JY 😏)
This 2018, I will be working towards having more intention in my life (thanks to @happydannybunny), and showing more kindness to people around me. There have been times in my life where I honestly find my behavior to be quite a selfish twat. 😟
On that self-revelation note, I wish everyone a joyous, fulfilling twenty eighteen. 🎈
