โดยในช่วง Live Stream ของทาง Sega ในงาน Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online คุณ Toshihiro Nagoshi ผู้กำกับของเกมซีรีส์ Yakuza ได้ออกมายืนยันด้วยตัวเองแล้วว่า Yakuza นั้นจะมีการสร้างเป็นภาพยนตร์ Hollywood ออกฉายทั่วโลกอย่างแน่นอน หลังจากที่ในสัปดาห์ที่แล้วมีการยืนยันมาก่อนหน้าว่าทาง Sega จะเดินหน้าทำโปรเจกต์ดังกล่าวนี้ด้วยตัวเอง

โดยโปรเจกต์นี้เป็นการร่วมทุนระหว่างทาง Sega กับบริษัทผู้สร้างภาพยนตร์ 1212 Entertainment และ Wild Sheep Content โดยมีทีมงานจากต่างประเทศมาควบคุมคุณภาพ แต่ยังไม่กำหนดวันเวลาที่จะออกฉายในตอนนี้
